We had a group of 4 for dinner, joined by another couple for drinks. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails and meals, choosing from the many selections and variety of the menus. Atmosphere was perfect for our get-together as we were going to a concert at Plymouth Memorial Hall. Our server was friendly, helpful and very on top of things! Excellent overall!
Dedicated gluten free fryer allowed me to have fried sea food which was such a treat. It was quite loud even at 630.
Busy Friday. Was seated right away. Waitress very attentive. Really good food. Calamari had more peppers than calamari. Other than that no real complaints. Drinks were good. Prices were decent. Bit of a wait for walk-ins.
The restaurant is in a nice location by the wharf. However, be sure to eat inside if you want to see the view. We elected to eat outside. There is NO view from the patio area. That was disappointing. Food was fine. Service was good at the beginning but then they seemed to forget about us. Overall, a decent experience.
Great drinks, apps and meals! We had outstanding server, Chuck, who answered all our questions. Will definitely return with family and friends!
Lobster roll was awful and chewy and very expensive $43 MP Typical local bar atmosphere on the harbor
The fish tacos were unseasoned and tasteless, right down to the corn tortilla, which I thought was supposed to be crispy, but came out soft like a flour tortilla. Barely any pickled onions on the top, which were, unsurprisingly, also tasteless with no pickling flavor at all just wet, red onions. Would not recommend the dish at all.
Was seated promptly then sat and waited had to get up and ask for a waitress. A wait for are martinis which weren't that good and overpriced. The Tuna Wontons were outstanding delicious! Then waited for oysters and then are entree was served and while we were eating our oysters appeared. I don't know why the wait and confusion it wasn't crazy busy. I tried it I probably would not return.
Website makes it look like an upscale restaurant - menu was different and place was dirty , run down , dark - a dump!
the food was good, and restaurant clean,, the service was fine.. No negatives.. everything was served nicely.. would recommend and had a diverse menu..

Though the food itself was good the service and environment of the restaurant was not ideal. The open window concept overlooking the bay was very pretty but I was not pleased by the service I received. The waitress was not very personable and there were flies all around the table my party was seated at which turned my appetite. Also the window was covered in dirt and what looked to be mold on the outside so the view was not as pretty as I would have liked it to be. I went for my anniversary dinner and I wish that it was more pleasing than what it was.
We got right to our table with the reservation. Server was quick with water and menus. The food was delicious. Staff was very friendly..
The most expensive meal at our table was the prime rib, but it was the least impressive. It looked and tasted like grilled steak, not pink, juicy prime rib. It was also pretty tough. The consensus on the rest of the meals was positive though and Maddie was a great server!
Nice overall experience at Tavern on the Wharf. Party of 6 adults and a baby. We were promptly seated and had great service. Everyone was really happy with their meals. We will be back again.
Food was delicious, we sat outside, we had our dog with us, which they served water to, great time outside.
