The clam chowder is by far the best I have ever had!! We shared a fisherman's platter and it was great. Our server was super!Atmosphere was casual, friendly. The only issue is music volume! It was so so loud, and the crowd was loud over it! I don't really get why the music has to be so loud, and on top of that they were streaming music at the same time someone was performing 20 feet away ?. It was far from relaxing lolI was with my elderly mom, and did ask if the streaming music volume could be turned down and our server was very nice and did, but even then, there was no way we could enjoy a conversation over our meal.

The Cabby Shack was always a favorite of our mother and we had family in town for her funeral. What better way to celebrate her than to get together for dinner at her favorite place to eat good food, and tell all the funny stories. The food and drinks were excellent, service even better and they sat us off to the side so we had a little area to ourselves. We will definitely be back and couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate mom.

The exact definition of a tourist trap. Walk literally 100 feet in any direction of this dumpster fire and you will get a better meal. Plymouth’s finest, grubbiest, bigoted, alcoholic, locals dine here. That and all the unsuspecting tourists who see it on the Phantom Gourmet. Which is probably why this place is still in business. The pizzas are disgusting and greasy. The whole place needs a renovation or just a full tear down. Most of the televisions in the place are still Plasma TVs. So the screens are actually yellow-ish color, which is definitely hilarious. Owner is a well-known bigot too, icing on the cake.

Had a great meal and a good time for a first time at Cabby Shack. No crowds until summer. Friendly bar scene and great service from our bartender. Great pizza, south shore bar style very reasonably priced. Only grope. 9 oz Kendall Jackson for 17 dollars. Ouch. Fun place. Check it out.

Our party seated at 5:45pm. We waited 30 minutes to be served- not even drinks. Multiple servers and the manager walked by without acknowledging our table. When I notified the counter we hadn’t been approached by a server, it took another 7 minutes for the server to arrive. The table next to us was seated at 6pm and was halfway through their meal by the time our server took our order. The kicker: after taking our order at 6:20pm, we were informed we HAD to leave because there was a ticketed event happening. Before arriving, we called and asked if we didn’t have tickets, can we still have dinner. Staff said “yes, totally fine for dinner without the tickets.” At 6:30, we told because we didn’t have tickets, we had to leave. “Graciously,” they allowed us to stay and finish our meal. No apologies from management, even when directly asked.Menu also has been updated with a note in fine print stating an automatic 3% fee is now included on every ticket to account for the rising costs of delivery, food, and to help retain staff…Completely insane. I have been a fan of Cabby for YEARS. Sad to say I will likely not go back.
