Seriously one of the best meals I’ve had all year. It was all incredible… We had the homemade ricotta (2 of them it was so good), grits, sausage, chicken Milanese, salmon, plus a few other things and then we had the carrot cake and miso chocolate mouse for dessert. Maria and the other staff were nothing short of spectacular.

This was my first visit, and I was blown away. Every dish—from the appetizers to the drinks—was exceptional. The chefs truly outdid themselves.
They had a ricotta and toasted bread appetizer that was so good, I could’ve made a meal out of just that one dish. And the chicken Milanese? It absolutely melted in your mouth—perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
Our server, Maria, was fantastic. She explained each dish with care and gave spot-on recommendations. When the food arrived, everything was exactly as she described.
Even though I live over an hour away, I’ll absolutely be coming back. This place is worth the drive.

I've eaten at The Tasty about once a week for the past five years, and in that time I've rarely ordered the same thing twice in a row...and I've loved every single meal. Having lived in big cities, I was skeptical when I first moved from NYC to Plymouth that I'd find a restaurant as inventive and consistently impressive as The Tasty. But this place delivers every time. The kitchen is always creating fresh, thoughtful dishes, the cocktails are both creative and perfectly prepared, and the desserts are truly the best I've ever had. Whenever I bring guests who live in major food cities, they're always amazed that Plymouth has a spot of this caliber.
The service deserves equal praise. The entire staff is warm and attentive. Adam always remembers our preferences and makes excellent pairing suggestions. Kaylia is not only friendly and thoughtful but also crafts outstanding cocktails. Maria is always a welcoming presence and provides top-notch service.
After more than 250 meals here, I sometimes pass by and see people hesitating at the door, and I feel compelled to say: don't hesitate. The Tasty is a gem, and we're lucky to have it right here in Plymouth.

Such a funky little place on the main drag in Plymouth. I just had their small plate of Parisian gnocchi which completely blew me away. Each was a melt in your mouth pillow of flavor which was served in a bed of even more flavor. It has transcend my previous best ever gnocchi which I had in the north end in Boston.

A gem. Location is great. Sat at the bar, Adam provided excellent service and was friendly and inviting. Ordered the Chicken Milanese. 100/100. Cooked to perfection, the spices, crust, sauce was the best. So good that me and my coworker returned and both ordered again during a 3 day business trip.
lord almighty the dan dan noodle were limp. No peanuts, no Szechuan peppers….instead. ...celery….no bueno. No bueno indeed. At least sprtiz the bowl w lime juice to zest it up or SOMETHING…c’mon 😞

A nice spot for lunch in Plymouth! The fried chicken sandwich, farmers grilled cheese, and grilled chicken sandwich were all tasty and both the fries and salad sides were good. The short rib flatbread was disappointing though, it felt way too doughy and didn’t have a lot of short rib. We were able to get a table right away and the waitress was friendly.

My niece and I love The Tasty and wanted to try their new menu. We were not disappointed!! I started out with a salad of fresh local tomatoes, pickled onions, charred peaches, and homemade cornbread croutons finished with a light citrus vinaigrette. It was divine! The cornbread croutons added a sweet touch to balance the tomatoes and picked onions and the charred peaches were an explosion of flavor. Next, I had the vegetable Biriyani with a mix of mushrooms from a local farm, various dried fruits, cashews and rice. The richness of the coriander, cardamom and cinnamon made this savory dish sheer perfection. I am a vegetarian so I was thrilled to have so many delicious choices on the new menu. Our server, Maria C. Was superb and explained everything to us and made our experience really memorable. She made some suggestions and they were spot on. To top it all off, we got pot du crème for dessert. It was the perfect dessert for a warm summer evening…chocolate velvety creamy custard serve ice cold with hot melted salted caramel on top served in a glass jar. We did not leave a drop!
Don’t miss the new menu at The Tasty. I know I will be back to try some more new dishes. Not to be missed! Ask for Maria to be your server…she’s fantastic!
