Outstanding dining experience at Tuscany Tavern, staff and chefs are tops … they even took great attention for a family member with celiac A+++

Very authentic, it's like stepping back in Italy, both the food and the atmosphere. Our dinner last night was nothing short of amazing. Definitely make reservations, the resturant is tiny, but that believe it or not is part of the charm. But be warned it is tiny, if that bothers you... order take out and enjoy the food.

Service was a little slow but the quality of the food made up for it. Would recommend.

No place on website states you need reservations. I just went there and they wouldn’t seat us without a reservation. The couple ahead of us didn’t have a reservation either and they got sat. There was another table available and another table was getting ready to leave. Hmmmm, odd. Def won’t be back.

The food and service qualify, by some margin, as the best Italian restaurant in the Plymouth area.

This place is wonderful, not fast paced, but relaxing and the food is incredible, as is the staff!

Vegetarian options: Ravioli, other pasta and risotto

Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free options. The risotto is delicious!

Celebrated my dads birthday here and it was a perfect night from beginning to end. Staff was attentive and the food was amazing. Took us right back to Italy! The waitress even brought a bowl of ice cream with a candle in it, after my father said he was too full for dessert (but apparently not too full for ice cream!!)

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT to say the very least. It was my suggestion for a party of 5 and a true embarrassment. I’ve had kids meals offering more food. I’ve had signature dining in N.Y, L.A, Chicago, Orlando and this was not signature dining. The price is WAY out of range for the offering. This was an absolute one and done. If I was at the restaurant rather than ordering to go I would’ve walked out. Save your hard earned money!! You want actual plate details we’ll be happy to share including the missing items. After forking over $150.00 family is now heading out for food!!

I was taken to the Tuscany Tavern on my birthday, and based on reviews, I was excited. We walked into a partially draw curtain and waited at what we thought was a hostess station. After about 5 minutes, I poked my head in the dining area, which was sort of awkward because I felt like I was intruding on the diners that were sitting at that table. I was then asked, "Do you have a reservation" from across the dining area from the person standing in the kitchen. She then pointed to the table in the corner and said, "That's your table," so we sat ourselves down. We ordered the Caprese Salad $13.95, which was very basic and lacked salt. The soup of the day was Pasta e fagioli, I was excited to try this because I've been to many Italian restaurants and love tasting the chefs version of this soup. Well, it was a clear broth with a few diced carrots and did not have any beans in the soup. My husband said it tasted like Progresso Soup from a can, and I actually agree. My husband ordered the SPAGHETTI ALLE VONGOLE, $22.95 and he liked it. My daughter ordered FETTUCCINE ALLA BOLOGNESE, $24.95 and we would say it was OK. I ordered the SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA $20.95. The dish that was placed in front of me was awful. It had what I believe were shallots that were partly raw and still crunchy, the sauce that coated the pasta was not a creamy sauce it was bits of scrambled egg with rubbery bacon and not flavor of mascarpone or parmesan cheese that was in the menu's description. The one waitress did a decent job, considering she was waiting on 6 out of the 8 tables herself. I would not personally recommend this restaurant. The prices they are charging for food that is mediocre at best.
