This place is garbage, The worst service I have ever had and the The place is dark, seedy. I reported to the bartender that I saw a rat and they said they know they have a rodent problem 😲. I also got attitude at the door coming in there that I did not have a digital ID and charged me an extra $20. This place is the worst place I have ever been too, almost seems like I should of entered through the back door. *GRIADMF*

My husband and I stopped in for a drink and maybe for a little bit of making out. We didn’t go to the actual club part of the bar which had a $20 cover which we thought was a little ridiculous. But welcome to Provincetown. The drinks were strong the bartender was friendly and quick, but I thought the cocktails here way too expensive. I doubt we’ll go for dancing with a $20 cover, but there’s definitely lots happening on the dance floor.

The back patio was a nice spot to spend a little time, especially with the beautiful (but spooky!) view that we had. The music was better than other bars and clubs, but the dance floor didn’t get busy until around 11PM. The cover was $20 per person.

The guy at the door on Monday night around 10:30 scream at me that I could not have a digital ID, California excepts it and I AM OVER 60 come on.
My husband and I visited The A Bar at about 3:30 pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, also our 10th wedding anniversary. There was one bartender and three other people in the bar. We sat immediately in front of the bartender and stayed for about three minutes. He never looked up at us, never said anything to us, and seemed to be rather angry and miserable. We walked out after three minutes. We visited later that night and the other bartenders were better. The place is dark, seedy, and mostly a pick-up joint, which can be good.
