This place doesn't disappoint! The 1 lb lobster roll is to die for. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was very charming. I also had the gelato and that had the perfect flavor combination.
We actually went after dinner for gelato. There were only a few people in line compared to some ice cream spots that were overcrowded. We saw a few people out on the patio with dogs, so we decided it would be a good place to stop with ours. The gelato was delicious and it was very dog friendly. We saw their menu had some good vegetarian options, would love to try for lunch when we are in the area.
The food was truly excellent and I loved my Gilded lobster roll. However, with the carnival in full swing, staff was clearly overwhelmed and had not been sufficiently trained yet the ladies and gentlemen working outside didn’t really know what to do about taking orders or cleaning off tables and after I ordered, she couldn’t tell me if my food was being prepared already or if there’s something else happening or why the long wait.
