Always a fun time here with great drinks & a welcoming, vibrant environment!
I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I saw an Anita Cocktail show at the cabaret. The show was fantastic first of all, but what was most incredible was the service. I am hard of hearing and my hearing aids broke down earlier in the day & I was nervous to go to a show I wasn’t sure I’d be able to hear. The staff was extremely accommodating to my disability & very kind about it. Thank you Crown&Anchor for being inclusive and making what could’ve been a stressful night for me an incredibly fun one!
This was our third time staying at the Crown & Anchor, and it was just as good as our previous visits. The rooms are charming, the staff is attentive and friendly, and if you're willing to spring for a room with a balcony, the views are unbeatable.
There is a nightclub on the first floor, so just keep this in mind if you're a light sleeper.
This hotel is very walkable too!
Best custom pink drink from the sweetest bartender Emma! After riding my bicycle 192 miles she quickly knew I needed a refreshing light martini!
Listen to me! Sit down at the outside bar with bartenders Tony and Maddy. They are THE reason this bar is a P-town classic.
Honestly the best spot for your stay in ptown. Very nice room, comfy bed and pillows, everything you may need is here and if it’s not, they will make it happen. Every morning we were offered a morning pastry or shortbread and coffee. Get go above and beyond to answer and questions and make you feel at home. 10/10 DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE
We saw Tina Burner’s Boob Tube show here and it was fantastic! The Crown Cabaret was a good space for the show because of its size. There was no assigned seating for general admission tickets, so get there 30-40 minutes before the show starts to get seats closer to the front. If you get there a little too early, grab a drink and play some shuffleboard to kill time. Tina’s show was smart, political, nostalgic, fun, and funny; couldn’t recommend it more highly!
Food was fantastic! As well as our waiter George! My family & I frequent P-Town, so this will definitely be a stop while there!
BUY DINA’S SHIRTS AFTER HER SHOW!
Dina Martina lit up the Paramount like only she can—campy, chaotic, brilliant, and absolutely hysterical. It’s not just a show, it’s a Provincetown rite of passage. Her timing?
Impeccable. Her passion for fashion? Legendary. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s THE place to be! See a show. Visit the Vault. Sing show tunes at Wave Bar. Take a dip in the pool!

Provincetown is magical—and The Crown & Anchor is its beating heart. This place has it all: a boutique hotel, a speakeasy, a brewhouse, a dance club, and a poolside oasis. It’s the best of everything, all in one iconic destination.
The rooms are cozy and charming, filled with thoughtful touches and artwork from local artists that celebrate the spirit of Ptown. Whether you’re in the mood for a fierce drag show, a boozy drag brunch, sexy late-night beats, or sun-soaked beach parties—this is the place to be.
What truly sets Crown & Anchor apart is the team. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome, cared for, and ready to have an unforgettable experience. From perfectly crafted cocktails to delicious bites, every detail is curated for your enjoyment.
Pro tip: Book way in advance—like a year out—because this place sells out fast. And don’t forget to grab tickets early for the shows, brunches, and parties. Trust me, you won’t want to miss a thing.
A must-visit Ptown staple. 👑🌈🍸💃🌊
I was drugged at the vault. After my second cocktail, I do not have a clue what happened. I was chatting with a bartender named Mikey and when I tried to ask him what happened the next morning he blocked me. Not sure if he drugged me or what happened but 2 cocktails isn't putting me out. I have no memory I'm just missing my glasses and my harness. I do have a flash of a memory of me getting upset and fighting with someone but I don't even know what he looked like. I would say it's a dream but whoever he was, he should be on your video surveillance.
Seating is two crammed together and the seats are too small for the shows unfortunately
Best location is worth the $$$.
We booked this location due to center of everything. I also booked this a year in advance just as a precaution. Due to events. The balcony overlooking the party area. But the oceanfront view was perfect for sunrise photography, boat photography. The balcony came with lil table and 2 chairs. The room has a king size bed, a desk with chair, leather love seat, gas log fireplace, huge bathroom. Corner shower that can fit 2 people in it. Plus a half kitchen. Microwave, sink, mini fridge, wall cabinets, ice bucket, open closet, beautiful artwork around the room.
This place also has a front deck for relaxing and a common area, place serves pastries and muffins with coffee in am.... has a seating area with books for reading. Guitar for playing, and a bathroom with a vintage floor. Overall. A great place to stay....
The price was cheaper then other locations asking more during memday weekend... the price honestly.
I personally didn't care about the price of the room. I wanted it to over look the pool. But I enjoyed the oceanfront view the most...
As for the restaurants that is attached. We never ate there. We had reservations for other restaurants. Due to our vehicle. We spend most of it at the beach feet from the ocean... but we also enjoyed the events and music. With our own case of alcohol we brought and enjoyed Celebrating our Anniversary.
Todd Alsop was phenomenal. Amazing voice and the way the Madonna songs were arranged made this a special night to remember. Loved the atmosphere and highly recommend anyone to go and see.
