This became one of my favorite spots this past summer. The food and cocktails are always superb, and the service and staff are always great and welcoming (Bruno in particular!).

This was such a great find! Staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious! My husband and I had the two pasta dishes and both were terrific. Admittedly when I got the chocolate dessert, I looked at it thinking it was just going to be a typical chocolate mousse cup…I was incredibly wrong because the dark chocolate with sea salt caramel was fantastic (especially paired with pinot noir)

Why haven’t we come here sooner? What a great experience from beginning to end. Atmosphere was cozy and elegant and we were lucky enough to have the corner booth overlooking the room. Our server Bruno was fabulous, very personable and attentive. He struck up conversation very easily and shared stories like we had known him forever. The food was impeccable and that’s coming from a foodie couple 20 min outside of NYC, one of which is a restaurant manager.

The Parker house rolls came out warm with a whipped butter and next the local gem salad with homemade buttermilk ranch dressing. The dressing was better than my own homemade ranch and now I am on a mission to recreate. The halibut seared and crisp on the exterior was cooked to perfection and my fiancés scallops equally as perfect. To end we shared the almond cake which was tender and full of flavor. Our adult beverages were 2 lychee martinis that were perfectly balanced and delicious.

I would not hesitate to recommend Freeman’s and will return here on our next trip to P-Town. Make your reservations and be sure to hello to Bruno!

Nice job and see you all soon..

Excellence from the bread to dessert!
Visited Freemans for a night out with my husband and a couple of friends and we had an amazing experience! Food was beautifully executed and delicious! Service (Our server Bruno) was 10/10, he explained each dish in detail and really made us feel accomodated and ready to just enjoy our dinner and have a great time!
Hopefully they will be open next season!

Had the pleasure of enjoying a couple of lovely dinners here this past month. Because everyone in town has been raving about this restaurant I was a little skeptical- how good can it actually be? And turns out, it is pretty incredible. I would describe the setting as modern Colonial- it feel both chic and anchored in tradion. The space is intimate, and also pleasantly quiet (accoustics are a major problem for many local restaurants- they can be extremely loud, not here). The service is exceptional- both staff and management are welcoming, engaged, courteous, attentive without being overbearing. The meal is perfectly timed. And as for the food- it is delicious. I have tried a fair portion of the menu now and some of my favorites are: the bread rolls (a must), the little leaf salad (such a refreshing blend of flavors), and the duck (perfectly tender confit). Deserts are good, they aren't excellent, but that's common in the industry. The drinks on the other hand are well thought out and executed, and definitely punch above what I would expect from a restaurant, certainly by local standards. The pear martini special I had was a delight. Overall, this place is a perfect for a special dinner, or a more intimate gathering.

Last night my friend Scott and I had the pleasure of eating here for my first time. Scott (and everyone) had hyped this place up forever to me and I thought for sure it couldn’t be as good as everyone had been asserting. It was better. The vibe from the moment you entree is so “not Ptown.” You feel transported to somewhere else…into something else that’s elevated and hip. The music really set the tone. The food.. just.. I mean how do you make CHICKEN stand out above the rest as they have some here? And the service… Bruno was always aware of where our table was at and what we needed at any given moment. He truly made the evening’s dining experience MOST exceptional. Freeman’s is exactly what Provincetown did not know it needed.

And thanks again Bruno.

Bruno, our server, was wonderful. He was polite and interactive, even joked around with us. Food was 4/5. Elegant dining experience, however, close quarters, making hard to be romantic.
