Oven baked clams - amazing

Duck confit - a little tough, but tasty

Service - Christopher M was the best! Great recommendations on food and PTown
knowledge. Thank you!

My partner and I had to unexpectedly leave PTown earlier than we had planned. Rather than be sympathetic and understanding they choose to still enforce their reservation policy, even though we messaged them first thing in the morning and they had plenty of time to fill those seats. No need for such greed. Won't be making a reservation there in the years to come.

Top notch from beginning to end. The location in town and the building itself were quite charming, tables and floor plan was cozy but not too crowded. My wife and I started with the chilled green pea soup and egg truffle custard to start. They were delightful. The cocktails here were also amazing. My wife had “the last word” and I did a (nonalcoholic) lychee lemonade. The entrees we chose were both specials and were also to die for. We shared the monkish special and the wagyu ribeye and they were both cooked to perfection and executed exquisitely.
Above and beyond the wonderful food/atmosphere was our AMAZING server Bruno. He was a consummate professional through the evening but balanced his extensive menu knowledge with a beautiful charm and wit that had us enthralled and entertained the entire evening. His top notch service elevated an already great experience to an unmatched one. Highly reccomend giving Freemans a try! Thank you Bruno!

Freemans pushes the dining scene in Ptown up a huge notch with super high-quality ingredients and creative seasonal dishes. We started off our dinner with some fresh-out-of-the-oven Parker rolls (melt in your mouth!), a refreshing Sauvignon blanc, and a few other appetizers and salads, all of which set a high bar for the rest of the meal. (The salted cod was my favorite.) For mains, we ordered the monkfish special, pappardelle with a short rib ragout, cavatelli cacio e pepe, and the tuna nicoise salad. Each was fresh, seasoned just right, and hands-down the best dishes we've had in town so far. The service was delightful without being intrusive, complimented by owner Joaquim's attentiveness. And the sophisticated, well-designed space allowed for easy conversation. Thank you for an amazing evening.

This restaurant was an amazing experience. I really wish I remembered our servers name but he was a the most polite and professional person I’ve met. The entire team was so professional and knew how to turn a bad situation into a positive experience at the end. Truly appreciate how the manager handled our situation and checked in on us.

Now for the food piece, this is by far was the best place we have visited in years. The food was so delicious and blew us away. All the options given to us from the server were outstanding. Highly recommend the clam chowder , papperdelle and the duck Confit

I visited Freemans Monday night for a special dinner with my mom. To say the service was exceptional isn’t enough. It felt like we couldn’t even think of something we needed before someone was there helping, making a suggestion, offering wine suggestions, etc. The whole restaurant was working together to deliver an excellent experience. We got the Parker house rolls, a salad, fresh fish dish, and pasta and shared it all. All very fresh and perfectly seasoned. Can’t wait to visit again.

We lucked out on a table as a walk in and we couldn’t have been happier. It’s such a beautiful space and a world away from the hustle on Commercial Street.
Our server was welcoming and super professional.
I had the best pappardelle I think I’ve ever had, and my spouse’s monkfish was excellent too.
It feels like everyone who works there is 100% in to make the experience world class.

We come to PTown every year and Freeman’s was the best dinner we had that week. The food was fresh, seasonal and delicious. Nice vibe and the service was friendly and fast. Can’t wait to return.
