If you don’t appreciate a gritty joint filled with characters, don’t go to George’s for Pizza and a beer! My family has been coming back to George’s annually for 30+ years….many generations, and now with our dogs. The Pizza is very good…the beer is very cold…and everyone that has ever served us has been great! We usually sit outside on the very ‘’unfancy” patio adjacent to the sandy beach and water….it is one of our Happy Places! Dear George’s: Don’t Ever Change!!!

When visiting my in-law's mid-Cape house, we almost always had an take-out pizza night, and I have good memories of George's, which is where we got the pizza.Seeing George's in P-Town was a welcomed sight. I assumed that the Provincetown George's is owned by the same folks.

Perhaps it is not the same people, however, because our experience here is less than satisfying. The outdoor deck had an ocean view, but the area just looked shabby. There was also confusion about ordering. The sit-anywhere instructions did not include that we needed to order inside. We waited an inordinate amount of time for someone to take our order.

When it arrived, the food was hum-drum. My salad was fresh enough, but it had nothing to distinguish it from a fast-food restaurant salad. Same goes for the tuna sandwich and burger that the others in my group ordered. Not going back!

Bartender was great, but the pizza was even better. I'm not a brick oven pizza kind of gal, so being from CT it's hard to find pizza I love. I went to PTown for the first time in April, and I ate George's so many times that weekend! We had pizza for lunch, then got a slice as a snack later in the day. Tried a slice somewhere else late night and didn't like it, so went back to George's to cleanse my pallete with good pizza for a 3rd time. The following day we had George's for lunch again before going on a whale watching cruise, then as we were docking we called in a large pizza to go and ate it on the ride back to Connecticut. 5 times, one weekend. Says it all! It's been 5 months and my husband still has to listen to me randomly say "I want George's."

Staff needs a serious attitude check as well as prep training. George’s Italian club was missing provolone and only had a very thing slice of each ingredient.

Service so slow we never got drinks or a single slice after 30 min. Understaffed. If you can’t sit at the bar don’t go here.

Has to be my least favorite eatery in town. The food is not terrible just not worth the price. Would not go again due to slow service even with few people currently dining with us. Workers inside didn’t want to share any menus for outside as if the basic legal size laminated paper menus were a huge business cost. It took about 30-45 minutes for food here.

They used my credit card to pay for another person’s meal after already making another mistake on my bill. The person I talked to was incompetent and rude when trying to solve this. Please don’t go here, they don’t know how to handle receipts, and the food isn’t good enough to go through the trouble or risk of paying double.

We sat ourselves outside. Waitress would not serve us. Made me come to her to get menu. We had terrible pizza. Waitress yelled over to me to come get my pizza. No wonder nobody goes there

We came here July 4th for pizza. The girl by the pizza ovens who I presume to be the owners daughter was HORRENDOUS. She yelled at every single person that walked in saying they were closed, although they were still selling slices. One party tried to go to the back patio to which she screamed at them. At one point, she yelled “my parents are sleeping upstairs be quiet!” Maybe don’t have a pizzeria on the busiest street in Ptown and be opened if you’re going to be rude, yell at guests and be a miserable human being. Also, the pizza is mediocre. I’d recommend spiritus or twisted for the food and the hospitality.
