What a great restaurant and atmosphere! First the staff(Jeff) is quite engaging in conversation and the bartender knows how to mix a drink!. They offered garlic bread to start and we ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. There was a good selection of seafood, beef, chicken, lamb and duck entrees. I had the broiled fresh Cod which was a very generous portion and perfectly cooked ! My table had chicken parm and seafood scampi dishes also. Attaching pictures of our various dinners. Topped it off with delicious NY cheesecake with rasberry drizzle and coffee. You wont be disappointed.

The food here is like the best I ever ate in my life. The waiter downstairs is super hot and funny too. The bourbon streak tips melt in your mouth and the chicken parm is like your grandma’s secret recipe from Italy. I suggest eating here every day

Oh my Gawd this amazing restaurant has been here forever and I just found it. The gazpacho.was Dee lish and the clam chowder was thick !!! We had lamb chops with Bremen beans and mashed potatoes and wait for it .........green mint jelly ! So old school! The chops were giant and thick !!! And broiled and sooo juicy .... chicken parm was crispy and the spaghetti was Adente !! Amazing ..... the staff was worker bees and everyone inside this intimate game of thrones restaurant was as laughing and full of townies and tourist...... Jeff took care of us ..... I love this place

Thought we were walking into a hidden gem, had one of the absolute worst meals we have *ever* had. The waiter Jeff was lovely and very sweet when we explained our disappointment. He was great. Horrible food.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Off the beaten path down a side street this is a true hidden gem. The Bourbon Steak Tips are not to be missed. My partner had the Chicken Parmesan and our son had the Scampi which was loaded with wonderful large scallops and shrimp.. our server Jeff was attentive and charming .. we will definitely visit again !!

Walked in on a whim only to discover a real hidden gem!Comfortable, cozy, quaint and welcoming atmosphere….. Steve at Mrs.Anderson’s bar was so gracious and fun!Returned to dine a week later, had the best meals of steak tips, chicken parm, featuring homemade sauce, real mashed potatoes, insanely good garlic bread! Can’t wait to come back, though it may take most of the year! ??❤️?

Quality of cod and scallops and Service (young Bulgarian very astute and friendly) were 5! The clam chowder was a 3 due to flavor (bland), amount of clams, & tiny serving and Caesar salad and bread too (nothing special) for $10 each. These 3s are easy to remedy. Lovely outdoor seating option since down a quiet lane if you want a rest from the huddle and bustle of the main drag. Historical atmosphere inside and being across the street from the A-House pub. Just open 2 weeks post COVID- all the best!

They had been closed for several years so we were eager to go back. We had enjoyed previous versions of the restaurant and heard good things about the renewed version. Located on Masonic Place it is a bit tucked away. The space is cozy lending to a great ambiance and the bar in the back is a hidden gem. The food was great and there is outside dining that is open but protected. We started with the artichoke spinach dip, for my dinner I had the chicken parm and my companion had the the seafood scampi. We split a dessert, a piece of dense chocolate cake. It was all outstanding!

Positives: waiter George was very friendly and attentive, pasta was cooked perfectly, wine was affordable, garden area is lovely, location away from hustle and bustle of Commercial St. Room for improvement: lobster and shrimp were overcooked and chewy, the free garlic bread did not taste good (used garlic powder?).
