Only stopped in to get drinks. My friend, boyfriend and I sat at the bar top table looking over the road which was a really nice view. All the drinks were tasty. One of the better Espresso martinis I've ever tried. Not too pricey and we had a very friendly server.

I give them a 5 for the vibe, but a 2 for the food and service. I was there with my family on a casual evening. The restaurant was less than 1/2 full, maybe around 1/3 full. I ordered a basic, pepperoni pizza. When it arrived at my table, the crust was barely a light tan color, as in, very undercooked. JDs advises as a "Woodfire Grill," it's even in their name. ANYONE who has even eaten at a woodfire pizza place knows that a pizza, if cooked correctly on a woodfired grill, comes out bubbly, with a browned, (sometimes even partially charred), crust. I love woodfired pizza! However, my crust was the exact some color as pre-cooked dough. And while the cheese was mostly melted, it wasn't the bubbly, melted mass that it should have been. To add insult to injury, the under-cooked pizza had a 2+" crust all the way around. I had ordered a 12" pizza, and while the crust was 12", the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni only covered about 8" in the center (max). That means an awful lot of crust, and little actual pizza. I essentially paid $18 (plus tip), for an 8", under-cooked pizza. When I asked the waitress to please stick the pizza back in the oven for a few more minutes, she developed an attitude that surprised everyone at the table. She did take the pizza back to the kitchen, but instead of returning with it 4-5 minutes later, it was a full 15+ minutes before my pizza arrived back on my table. Sort of a "malicious compliance" thing I guess. The pizza looked great, as it should have been originally, but the flavor.....If there was a trophy for the MOST BLAND pizza, then JDs wins the prize! Even with pepperoni! How do you get all your flavors to negate each other so there is ZERO flavor profile?Lastly, and this is to inform those folks out there who like a cold beer with their pizza. I ordered a Stella which is supposed to be served chilled. Mine was the temp of a Guinness Stout. I asked our waitress to please bring me a glass of ice (I didn't even tell her what it was for, I just wanted to get a chilled glass). She brought me a glass that had just come out of the dishwasher. It was much warmer than room temp and much of the ice had melted by the time she got to our table. Malicious compliance once again?I can forgive the staff for this bad experience, everyone has bad days. I just wish that they wouldn't take it out on customers. We were on vacation and in a great mood. We weren't being "Karens." Wait staff know that that original pizza should not have left the kitchen under-cooked. And they know that when people ask for a glass of ice, you don't serve it in 100+ degree glass. Were we disappointed? yes. Will we try them again hoping that this experience was an anomaly? yes.

This place is not what it used to be....staff changes constantly, food is very inconsistent. Have visited on several ocassions in the past and the food was good, my last visit this past August proved to be " 2 stars". The waitress was terrible, the food not good at all, how can you ruin pizza, it was overcooked on one side while the otherside was raw. New England clam chowder was like water, I should have asked for straw.....Will not be returning anytime soon. And it's not cheap for what it is.

The place has a nice spot, but the service was extremely slow, we were at the moment to leave after more than 30 minutes of waiting with a hungry toddler when they showed up with our orders, which were very mediocre food. Also, we have to wait more for the check. I don't recommend this place if you would like to enjoy a good seafood on Ptown.

$1 for a glass of water right off was an unpleasant surprise. No other restaurant we’ve been to in Ptown charges for a glass of water. Food was mediocre as was service. Food was overpriced for the quality.Atmosphere was nice on the outdoor deck.Stairs need some TLC.

Easter Euro bartender, clutching the card reader, told us the bill was 75.00. i asked her if we got the Happy Hour price on the oysters. She said, “Yes” I said, “ great may i see the bill?” She snidely replied, “Why do you think I put my lunch on it?” Typical of female J1s in Ptown these last couple of years. They need an attitude shift

Went with friends for lunch. The restaurant was near empty. The host directed us to sit in the back near the kitchen door. Of course we said no. The service was good. The upsell on the beverages was astonishing $12 for a glass of house rose and $15 for a Pinot Grigio. The food was okay. Question...who presents a salad in the bowl that is on an angle facing down? It's destined to land on the table. It would not be a place to go to if you had a bunch of kids who are picky eaters.

Came here with my family during our visit to P-town. We were looking for a quick bite and a drink to carry us over until dinner. We were on a schedule, so timing was everything. We asked the server if they could get us in and out fairly quickly, and she delivered! We ordered raw oysters, sashimi, and some other appetizers. We also got some wine and beer. Everything was delicious! The check came quick and we were on our way! Thanks for accommodating us!

A good choice for a simple, fresh and no frills restaurant. The menu has been updated a bit, but has all the usuals you would expect from a Cape place.Raw bar is always good. Grilled fish, burgers are excellent. Pizza is not a favorite of our family. Never tried the pastas.Sushi is a big part of the menu and whilst it is decent, it doesn't feel authentic. The proportions are wrong and size of rolls wrong so that everything falls apart when you pick it up.Servers are always super helpful and friendly. Food comes quickly.

Fantastic location, food and service. The manager was extremely friendly and made sure we were happy with our experience. We had a balcony seat overlooking Commercial St. The atmosphere was very casual and inviting. The menu has a variety of foods to entice most palates. I recommend you to enjoy and experience Jd's yourself ?

The whole menu is a scam, way over priced for some SLOP that’s not even real good food!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. Don’t even get me started on the SUSHI!!!!! Worst sushi I have ever had in my LIFE and I am a sushi FANATIC. all me and my 2 other friends were SICK TO OUR STOMACHS the rest of the night and the next day!!!! My friend even threw up from it, and we told them even spoke to the GUY THAT OWNS THE ACTUAL RESTAURANT and he didn’t care at all, super rude, just wanted to take out money, and I think especially cause we were young he didn’t care about us even more. Such a gross place, if you’re forced to eat here I recommend only getting water for your whole dinner. Shout out to the waitress she was nice :)

you cannot beat the fresh clams and oysters. The whole lobster special is amazing and all the staff went above and beyond to make our many visits there great!

OUR waitress was horrible. All other wait staff that helped us were AWESOME. Lobster over cooked. Ice tea from a machine and tasted like colored water. Beet salad was lacking enough beets. Ones that came with the salad were cut ultra thin. Arugula was soggy.

The dining experience offered a mix of delights and disappointments. The sushi was great and the shrimp dish stood out with its almost tempura-like quality, providing an enjoyable experience. However, the cheesesteak didn't live up to expectations, as it seemed overpriced for the quality received. The fries were decent, but not exceptional, serving as a passable snack option. The water policy was understandable, but the price of $0.95 for a small water box was questionable, especially considering alternatives available elsewhere at CVS for bigger. The servers were friendly and competent, but the food took about 40 minutes to arrive, which could be an issue for those with urgent hunger. The restaurant was relatively pricey, and it's worth noting that the specials might offer more budget-friendly options. During the visit, there were a couple of issues. Firstly, a side swap of fries for onion rings resulted in a $3.00 up-charge, despite both items having the same menu price. When I was served they even forgot my onion rings (seemed the cooks didn't make them). Secondly, a family faced a frustrating situation where they had to wait for half an hour to be seated, witnessing others being seated before them, the family with kids were upset the entire time and weren't any better once seated.

Our server was the most obnoxious person I believe she must be the waitress from Bulgaria others as speaking about. She hung over my husband until we left a large tip that she didn’t deserve food mediocre . Waitstaff make u feel like they are doing you a favor.
