Jimmy’s is one of those places that never fails to satisfy, in a big way. This outing we had the grilled oysters, delicious, lobster carbonara, plenty of lobster in an amazing sauce, and the filet, which was one of the best steaks we have ever had! The food is consistently great, service top notch, in an old school cozy atmosphere. If you haven’t eaten at Jimmys you are missing out on a truly great dining experience!!!

Just incredible food, service, and atmosphere! It has been on my bucket list for years and I finally got a reservation, and it has well worth it.
Old fashioned was made to perfection. The jalapeno crab cakes were awesome. The Portuguese Cod was a great entree. And the blueberry bread pudding was delightful.

Our server was great and the food was enjoyable. But our table felt like it was in the hold of an old sailing ship; cramped and claustrophobic. The outdoor patio would have been a much better experience and one that would justify the pricing

I’ve wanted to dine at Jimmy’s forever. And two years in a row I was able to go there- thanks to reservations. Last year the food and drinks were good but apparently we were a loud laughing group of 6 and asked to quiet down several times. The service was good both times. But this time the inside was so loud I had trouble hearing my whole table. The loud rattling heat pump was blowing directly on our table. And the food was tasteless. The portions were large but the Portuguese cod had zero flavor. And the busser took the plates while the whole table was still eating. It was awkward but Inguess 4 out of 6 of us had put our plates to the side. The crab cake appetizer looked like cat food at we didn’t finish it. I almost laughed when our very kind and experienced server asked if we wanted dessert but since the busser was so fast I guess she failed to see the table’s apps and meal plates go back half finished. I’m a clean plate club person so this was out of character. The meal quality was far below the price point. The vegan in our group was even more disappointed. After decades of wanting to go, I am cured.

Wanted to try this gem for a while, after local recommendations. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Phenomenal menu, had the baked stuff shrimp and it was the first time in many, many years that a meal was delivered to our table and was “hot” the entire time and we even sat outside. My husband had the veal chop and it was out of this world. The dessert I had was the lemon cake and was sweet and delicious!! My husband had the chocolate mousse and we were wowed again!!! The ambience was wonderful and our lovely waiter was very sweet and thoughtful.

The restaurant has great ambiance and the service was on point but we were disappointed with the food. The scallop dish that my husband had was not good. The scallops were overcooked and the potato pancake was dense and greasy as it was sitting in the sauce. The lobster carbonara was good but only contained the claw meat. For the price of the dish it should have the included the tail as well.
