Wanted to try this gem for a while, after local recommendations. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Phenomenal menu, had the baked stuff shrimp and it was the first time in many, many years that a meal was delivered to our table and was “hot” the entire time and we even sat outside. My husband had the veal chop and it was out of this world. The dessert I had was the lemon cake and was sweet and delicious!! My husband had the chocolate mousse and we were wowed...
The restaurant has great ambiance and the service was on point but we were disappointed with the food. The scallop dish that my husband had was not good. The scallops were overcooked and the potato pancake was dense and greasy as it was sitting in the sauce. The lobster carbonara was good but only contained the claw meat. For the price of the dish it should have the included the tail as well.
I love this intimate little gem. We were seated on the patio on the bayside, and we enjoyed the view as much as the food and the service. The Portuguese Cod is bursting with flavors and surprisingly heart-healthy and diet-friendly without even trying :-)
My family opted for burgers and fries, and even these were special-looking.
Try the wedge salad!!! It’s huge so splitting is a good idea…
