It all starts with a great first impression of how we remember places, and that's the positive vibes we received from the friendly baristas working behind the counter here.The 70's mellow music they had on in the background was very fitting for the energy, too. Gotta love those oldies but goodies. They played the classics at the perfect amount of volume so we could quietly chat while sipping our smooth Americano coffees. If you're lucky like we were and want to save some money, they have 'yesterday's freshes' for only $2.25. We were told that every day, these options change, and there's no guarantee that there will be 'freshes' from the day before. Okay, so in case you have no idea what 'freshes' mean'.These are their version of (day olds). But you wouldn't know it otherwise as the almond croissants we ate were so soft and tasted, fresh. Hence, the creative name. ;) This folks is the kind of café experience that will keep you wanting to come back for years again and again. We are very much already looking forward to re-visiting in the near future.

I enjoyed my oat latte. They offer all the classic espresso drinks plus more. Along with plant milks. Didn’t see any vegan food options. But drinks that contained dairy like their chai were clearly labeled which I appreciate.

Staff had terrible attitudes. Literally rolled his eyes infront of us because we made a “mistake” when ordering 3 drinks. Good coffee, but the negative attitudes made the whole experience unwelcoming. Plenty of other coffee shops in the area.

Beautiful aesthetically to the eye! Lots of assorted baked goods that each looks delicious. We had the lemon poppyseed scone and egg sandwiches! Both hit the spot. I love scones and this is one of the best I have had. The coffee was very full bodied and woke us up! We loved sitting outside under the umbrellas. The neighborhood is very quaint and beautiful!

Cute little coffee shop with a few vegan and gluten free food/snack options and very friendly staff. They had vegan overnight oats (which they heated up for me and was very tasty), chia pudding, some energy balls and a little vegan bar. Grateful for places like this that think about us! Nice big outdoor seating area too.Dietary restrictions: They have labels on their food for vegans/gluten free/dairy free/nuts.

I am slow with speech and ordering. Employee did not smile. I felt rattled with his speed and frequent questions. It was not busy there. He made me feel as if he was very busy. I realized after leaving I ordered incorrectly due to the speed of ordering. I have been going to Joe's since it opened for the mocha coffee. I will not return.
