Had a nice experience. One of the only sushi spots in P Town and it was delicious. Thank you Johnny Thai.

$26 cocktail and running out of ingredients mid-August because the establishment will be closing for the season on Labor Day. While the food was good, I don't understand how one can run a restaurant this way. It is unlikely I will repeat any time soon.

Horrible food. Penang curry was flat and bad. Bowl was mostly filled with onions. 3 minuscule bites of tofu. Strange portions of egg and chicken in other dishes. Soy sauce is only real flavor. Really expensive. Servers were nice.

I ordered a take out from them , they put the food that had oily sauce in a paper container without letting me know, it soaked through the container into my bag and stained all my personal items and clothing , the sauce ran on my leg down to my sneakers and burned me as soon as I took out the food from my bag . when I got home, all of the food fell through the soaked paper container onto my floor. When I called to complain , they told me they were gonna have the manager call me back on the same day , but they never did .

The general tso's was crispy, but it had little flavor other than "sweet". The pad Thai was extremely egg heavy, the pad see ew was supposed to come with thick rice noodles and vegetables, but there were only a few broccoli spears amidst the plate of salty yet cloyingly sweet fettuccini. The Thai basil with chicken was ok but very salty. Interesting take to blend the basil into the sauce rather than add it straight to the dish. Our soup appetizers were ok. We kept hearing the characteristic "beep beep beep" of a microwave and we joked they were heating our soup up, then moments later the bowls of warm (not hot) soup came out. Even if they were microwaved they were tasty. The martinis were boosted to be the biggest around, but when they arrived they were normal sized. The flavors were unique and fun, but the only thing that was large about them was the price. Definitely have sticker shock and honestly buyer's remorse. Also...$6 for a glass of diet Pepsi? Still a little stunned by that. The service was good, no complaints there. I don't remember the price of a side of rice but the small ½cup of rice that came was paltry.

This little Thai restaurant seems to pack in the crowds, but the food was disappointing. High prices for Thai food (okay - it's on Commercial Street in P-Town, so I get that it's going to be more expensive than average) that lacks in quality and taste. My curry had an abundance of onions and only one piece of broccoli with a hot sauce that was almost unbearably spicy. Not what I expected. My friend order Massaman curry and they forgot the protein. Again, lots of cheap filler vegetables - not what we expected. Bottom line: if you are going to charge Provincetown prices, how about better-quality food without cutting corners?

Johnny Thai at Monkey Bar is an absolute delight! Their BBQ ribs, pot stickers, and bao appetizers are outstanding. I highly recommend pairing them with the refreshing Jack and Thyme cocktail. The service is exceptional too. A must-visit for a memorable Thai dining experience.

Came here because my partner had great experiences in the past. Cocktails were on point and boozy the way I like 'em. Got the inside scoop from one of the bartenders (Duffy) at the adjoining Monkey Bar about what he recommended on the menu and he was spot-on about the Khao Soi Chicken (great Thai flavors bouncing around my mouth with satisfying noodles, some fried/crunchy, and some traditional). As an appetizer we had an order each of tuna and eel sashimi, both had substantial slices of fish with perfectly prepared rice. So enjoyable, and Johnny and David were so gracious. Can't wait to come back!

My partner was charged $26 for a manhattan! We asked if this were a mistake, and no, it wasn't. We should have asked the price beforehand, but if this is what they charge, seems to us that they should warn us beforehand. The drink cost more than our entrees. We recognize that restaurants in places like Ptown need to make all their income in 10 wks of summer; but the going rate for a mixed drink in town is about half this.

Their martini menu is off the charts. I had the panang curry with chicken. Very delicious. Our server was really sweet. She chatted with my friends and me and gave us some insight on the area. I wish her well on completing her college degree. My friends all ordered different martinis so we all could sample. Great experience. Ambiance was good. We ate rather late so it was not that crowded for a Sunday night.

We came here for lunch and had a pleasant experience. We tried both a Thai entree and a sushi special. The sushi was good, basic, no complaints. The Thai peanut chicken was fantastic -- fresh, lively flavors. Service was friendly (we were one of few tables, so there was no servicing stress). The only downside here is the pricing -- a bit on the high side for the food portion size and quality.

Drinks and appetizers were good. I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner.

Whatever you read from 3 years ago, don't believe it anymore. This place is beautiful inside. Very chic and comfortable and any type of martinis you can think of. The food is delicious. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is very inviting. I will recommend this place to all my friends.
