Best fried scallops I think I have ever had. Sweet and juicy, just barely breaded and cooked to perfection. Got them on two different days and they were exceptional both times. Scallops are expensive but one order feeds two generously as a late lunch- order to split and the per-person cost is very reasonable.

The Portuguese Rice is their hidden gem. Every summer my family always makes a visit to John's Footlong to all get our favorite P-Town snack. We have been trying to replicate it at home for years, but I think the crucial missing ingredient is the people watching while enjoying a bowl of the rice while sitting on the bench at Lopes Square!Parking: MacMillan Pier parking is very close byKid-friendliness: Lots of choices for picky kids

Quick bites. I've eaten here every few years and it's always reliable. I had fish and chips the other day and it was yummy.

I didn’t even eat here but my friends did, and they won’t stop RAVING about the scallop rolls! They were absolutely blown away by the generous portions of fresh and delicious scallops.

Good food and a perfect location to hide from the crowds. While you can order food to go, you can also relax and people watch on their patio above.

The foot-long hot dogs are, of course, the most well-known thing that they serve here — but honestly, the whole menu is delicious! The fried dough, especially.

The food was great for the most part. The Hot DOG and clam chowder was good. The Lobster Roll however was better at Kelly’s near Boston Logon Airport. Also tap water in a cup should be complementary with purchase of anything. I was very thirsty and wanted water (I did not want bottled water as it is overpriced). The cashier said that will be $1. This is outright ridiculous. I’ve been to many restaurants and places similar to this establishment in similar small towns and they gave me filtered tap water and ice free when I asked for it with the meal. This is unacceptable and I probably won’t be back. It is already overpriced as it is. At least have the courtesy to offer tap water and ice for free with purchase.

Definitely not cheap eats as advertised on Trip Advisor. Crab roll has lettuce stuffed in the bottom to make it appear more full. Prices were more for a sit down dinner as opposed to walk up window service. Cashier was friendly. Foot long hot dog is served in a six inch bun. Wow.

Overpriced mediocre food. Definitely not cheap eats as advertised on Trip Advisor. Walk up window with no table service and a small unstaffed upstairs patio area. Foot long hotdogs are served in a six inch bum. Really? Crab roll has lettuce stuffed in the bottom which makes it appear more full than it is. Crab was bland. French fries were good. Cashier was friendly.

A simple take out stand located near the main wharf ( Boston ferry) They have seating on top of buiding or sit on the benches at the square & people watch. Perfect spot for anyone who loves fresh full bully clams, quick & very friendly service & so delicious. We shared one box of fresh full belly clams; comes with skinny French fries, so fresh. You help yourself to tartar sauce & ketchup. The lines moves fast. Best deal in town for a clam box! Enjoy-

A great place to grab something quick to eat while you're walking around. Good Staff, good food, and quick. Lots of classic American options. Didn't take long for the food to come. There is a cool rainbow crosswalk right there as well.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly food options on menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy for someone to roll up to. Counters are a little high though.

Fun, walk up window for a quick bite. We had a footlong hot dog (in yummy lobster roll bun) and the flounder sandwich. Both were great. There’s an upstairs patio but we chose to each in the cool park area across the street and people watch. Service was a little slow (they were not busy) but not terrible.
