The Underground Provincetown

We Absolutely loved the underground! My girlfriend and I came to Provincetown for vacation for the week of the 4th of July, after exploring town for a bit we decided to stop by and check out the underground for a drink, we were instantly greeted with a big smile by Andi who is absolutely amazing!! She really is the best bartender we’ve ever had and became a friend in the short time we were there. Andi is so welcoming to everyone and we absolutely loved our time here with her. She made us feel comfortable instantly. AMAZING drink service! Amber is also equally just as fabulous! From great conversations, laughs, and hugs to drying my sleeves off for me from my spilt drink LOL! Amber was such a good friend and an amazing bartender!
At the end of the trip both girls made our last night in town so special to us and we already miss going there. The security man, Walter, was very sweet to us as well, he’s a real one. The underground is now our go-to spot when we’re in Provincetown and we can’t wait to go back to have fun and make more of the best memories ever!! LOVE you guys thank you so much! <3 see you soon!

Amazing atmosphere and service! The bartenders Jesse and Amber served me this past weekend and were friendly and courteous even considering how busy they were. The DJ on Saturday kept the dance floor lively all night. There’s pool and air hockey on the other side of the floor if you are looking for a little more breathing room. Certainly my new favorite place and will be back! 10/10!

Salt of the earth staff. My friends and I stopped in on a rainy cold night, the town was dead because of the weather but the underground was still bumpin'. The bouncer and the bartenders were so sweet and kind. Everyone who came was a mixed bag, it was a classic new england dive scene (but not gross and sticky!). I would come back again and again, we had an absolute blast. pool tables, air hockey, ping pong, dance floor, great music. Just a really warm environment, I felt like i was right at home as a kid from MA.

Outside of the low ceiling( 6ft plus beware) lol this is a go to spot for a good time and some great vibez!

Dive bar atmosphere. Staff was smoking right outside of the entrance and the entire place smelled terribly. Would not recommend.

Don’t bother trying to come here if you have any type of disability or need accommodation. They wouldn’t let me in with a service animal in even tho he has paperwork and is registered which is literally illegal but I didn’t have the energy to argue so I just left

What a great place to be. Came down with a few of our friends on our bikes this weekend. Met the owner of the bar Carol, who was very personable and down to earth as well as the bartenders. Very cool place to hang out.

Bartender had a chip on her shoulder the second we walked in. Seriously so rude for no reason. Dont come here with your girls. Overpriced drinks too. Lame!!

Should be called the “Underage”. Seriously though. They should definitely check that better. Saw some kids there who couldn’t have been any older than 18-19 at this place while in the corner you got the 50-60 somethings playing pool. So interesting mix of crowd. Two of the couples from the young group walked in to the single stall bathrooms together for a good five minutes or so. So be careful what you touch in the bathrooms I guess. This place kinda gives me college bar vibes mixed with Euphoria from HBO and a dive bar that old timers hang out at. Drinks kinda pricey, but it’s a vacation town so I get it. around $6-7 even for light beers let alone shots which are like $14 bucks. Place also has pool, air hockey, ping pong and a dance floor.

Andi and Jesse are the absolute BEST bartenders ever! I went to ptown with my bf for his birthday and the underground was the best experience, super nice bartenders, reasonably priced drinks and those gummy bears.. SUCH A GOOD EXPERIENCE! playing air hockey and drinking all night was amazing

15+ years coming to the Cape and this is a must stop. Bartenders have always been kind and serve the best cocktails.
