Recommended dishes: Lobster Roll with New Ngland Clam Chowder

Lovely Saturday afternoon in early September found us enjoying strolling Commercial Street in P-town. Enjoyment aside…a guy’s got to eat. We selected Vorelli’s based upon the menu posted in the window….clearly our first visit. Spouse selected what could be termed an ungrilled “cold corned beef Reuben”. The sandwich of corned beef with sauerkraut, cheese , and dressing was generous in size, featured lean moist meat, and was not short on the dressing. I selected the pulled pork sandwich…typically not my choice…and was enthralled by the moist lean pork, flavorful “killer” sauce, and a pile of cole slaw. Server Dean was a joy…helpful, patient, personable. Prices were quite reasonable for the area, creating a pretty good value. We would return.

Went after a whale-watch excursion, came here because The Lobster Pot was backed-up. Should have waited.My wife ordered the fish tacos, which she really liked. I ordered a Portuguese shrimp Mozambique. While the sauce was good, the shrimp were inedible, overcooked and beyond rubbery. Like the improved urethane version. I asked the waiter if this was intended, he assured me it was. I left them untouched.We will never return.

From the time we were greeted at the door until we left it was all very good. My wife and we're in Provincetown for the first time in 50 years. We were just walking and decided it time for some lunch. We stopped to read the menu and decided to go in. Nice old world setting. A quaint bar, a separate dining area with some booths and window tables. We ordered drinks and lunch. Our wait staff was both friendly and efficient. Food was delivered in a short time and served hot if required. My wife had an excellent steak cheeseburger with baked french fries. I had the half lobster roll and chowdah. They were well prepared, very tasty, and filling. An excellent stop during our Provincetown visit.

wonderful staff, excellent food, and best prices in Provincetown! I've visited this bar and restaurant from San Antonio, TX for years, and have always had an extremely wonderful experience.

Really good food but depressing atmosphere. Some waiter slamming things down as no one told him he had 2 folks at one of his tables. They walked out - do where was he ??

Great little quiet restaurant . We sat near the window and watched people walk up and down Commercial St. The service was awesome. I had the crab cake with baked fries. V had the lobster roll with clam chowder soup. It was our first time here, and we loved it. We will visit again when we come back to P-town from Philadelphia PA.

Food: The Clam Chowder soup tasted like canned soup. Disappointed. The 1/2 lobster roll was mostly bread and a leaf lettuce. It was pre prepared with mayonnaise. I couldn't order it without the mayo. The lobster was okay. I've had many better. It was served with a package of mini oysters crackers instead of a piece of fresh toast. Service: Excellent! The staff was SO nice. No complaints. They were very courteous, upbeat and positive. Ambience: old English style decor with heavy dark wood. Clean. Dim lighting. Daytime light from front windows provides extra light. Antique shop smell. Didn't try the bar but it looks like a lot of choices.
Serves the best Bloody Mary! The food is excellent and staff is terrific.
