Took my son back home to Boston. We stopped at the 99 in Quincy for dinner. Larry the server was absolutely fantastic .The manager Giovanni came over to the table asked if we were happy with everything. Without a doubt. The rib eyes were out of this world. Cooked to perfection. Mashed and vegetables were excellent. Never had to ask for a refill it was there. This is the pace to dine. Wife and I decided tomorrow for dinner we are going to try the Milford location. My parents took us to the 99 when we were children. It was good then. It is still fantastic. Larry and Giovanni thank you for a great dining experience. We will be back.

Let me start of by saying I used to go here a lot over 20 years ago. The food was cheap, good and big portions. I'm going to say now a days it's on the low end when you don't want to spend much you go here. Food I would say was compared to a cafeteria vibe I had salty pot roast and a sad supposedly baked potato which was undercooked and disgusting. But when I tell you the waitress was so on point her name is Tonya and let me tell you she is a whole vibe. She made this 99 restaurant experience amazing. She is sweet, energetic and amazing in every way. She comped my potato and entertained us. I would go back only to see Tonya actually because her service was attentive and phenomenal. I'm not impressed with the food but if I was having a party at the 99 I want only Tonya.

I ordered the country fried chicken from Quincy Ma location. Mind you this is one of my favorite meals at 99. The chicken was rubbery horrible. And I ordered a side of the broccoli casserole horrible the broccoli was pretty much raw. After a long day of working. I was looking forward to a good dinner. Money down the drain cause I just threw it in the trash highly disappointed.

My family and I went there last week and we were greeted with the most beautiful young polite kind caring girl we have ever had the pleasure of having the ability to seat/greet us. She was amazing. And made our whole day well better, as we just got news of a loved one passing away unexpectedly. And then come to find out is was only her 4th day working there. I was wanna say she’s a keeper and a hard worker and she should be acknowledged and her name was Jessica R.

Your one lucky 99 to have this young girl as a team member. I may steal her for my restaurant. Happy Holidays

Management is always superb ! The comment below about my children is absolutely disgusting and horrendous. I’ve only had two negative experiences here out of dozens of amazing ones here. Sounds like someone is buddies or is the server I’ve had an issue with seeing’s how time timelines only add up to her.

Came into a fairly empty restaurant. When I said just one , I was the waitress was overwhelmed with the people who just came. They would see if someone could take me. The bar staff ended up taking my order, while staff sat in the corner by the kitchen having a meeting. While watching the restaurant fill up.
Other then the bartender, who was fantastic! This service was horrible and off putting. As a former employee this is never how we were told to make people feel.
Kacey was fantastic, but that was the only positive from today's visit

So disappointing. I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it came out very medium. The asparagus I ordered, I couldn’t even chew. I had to push my meal aside before anyone realized I was dissatisfied. What happened to the days when, staff checks in you to see if your meal is ok. Then I asked for a ginger ale and my check.
Neither appeared. I had to ask a second time.I used to live coming here. What happened

Just showed up about 30 minutes ago with my boyfriend- we walked into the restaurant, nobody was there to greet us for about ten minutes but multiple waiters walked by us without any acknowledgment. it wasn’t busy and half of the restaurant was empty- the girl who finally acknowledged us told the waiter that looks like the great value Sam smith we needed a table for two and he rudely said it’ll be at least 10-15 minutes. After he walked away I noticed an empty booth right in front of us and the lady hesitated and then told me she’s going to wipe it down and it’ll be five minutes. At that point we’d been at this establishment for about 30 minutes and once we realized nobody was going to service us, we left. NEVER AGAIN. #melanin #blm

I used to love going to the 99 Restaurant back in the Eighties and the food was cooked right there and you'd get a great portion too! Now, I know it's in the 2020s and everything went up in price but why did you cut back on the PORTIONS too? I still eat there but I'll never forget the old 99's with bigger steaks and great seafood 😋 too! The waitstaff are always nice and polite and the restaurant still looks pretty sporty and all the pictures 📸 are from all 4 of our major teams and they are all smiling, well most of them!
