This was definitely the best sisig I’ve had in my life! I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Bright Light: it had a vibrant interior highlighting both Filipino and Jamaican décor, interactions with the customers were incredibly friendly, and the food was amazing. I got the lechon kawali sisig and it had a perfect balance of tangy flavor, spice, and richness from the lechon. A very large portion was given to me as well which made for an excellent second meal. I also asked Tita Rose for an interview for a school project I was doing and she graciously gave me some of her time despite being one of the only cooks for Bright Light. Tita Rose was incredibly busy and even had a migraine by the time that we met up and yet, she still gave me her time. She told me that she works and keeps the business running strong for the community and based on her kindness in speaking with me, I wholeheartedly believe it. Please visit Bright Light!! They are an amazing establishment and I can’t wait to keep going back.

The food was amazing, seriously delicious. The only downside was not being greeted when we walked in, which is something I always notice. But someone did come over later to check on us, so that made up for it a bit

I’m here in Boston for a vacation. I googled Filipino restaurants and came across Bright Light. It’s a very cozy place with a warm atmosphere. Most of all, the food is absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend this place.

Their red snapper is by far the best Jamaican snapper I’ve ever had. Great customer service!!!

The jerk chicken was PHENOMENAL.

Staff incredibly accommodating.

Such an interesting concept.

The Phillipines meet Jamaica.

This restaurant was life-changing. Specifically, the oxtail. It's in the ready-to-go hot bar, and it's definitely the best oxtail we've ever tried. The gravy is crazy -- like the best demi glace ever -- and the oxtail is so tender. We'll definitely be back to get a large serving of the oxtail!

We also got the shrimp pancit bihon (made to order, so it took some time since they were slammed with takeout orders), which had a lovely garlic flavor. Not many shrimp, but that garlic vermicelli was addicting! It was outshined by the oxtail, but it was still quite good.

Needless to say, I love this place and am excited to come back and get more oxtail (and maybe try some more of their Jamaican foods).

Not from around here, but if I was I would be 500 pounds because of this place. We got a couple things and everything we got was crazy delicious. Lumpia and pancit bihon reminded me of mom’s. My jamaican beef patty disappeared before my eyes. Seriously, check this place out!

Owner kept looking while I was paying to see if I was going to give a tip, very unconfortable.Owners don't get tip !!!👎

Spoiled because my spouse is a Johnson & Wales grad. Would have preferred the oxtails slightly more "fall off the bone ready" than having to work to get it off the bone. Additionally, would have preferred dressing on my slaw. The fried sweet bananas were on point.

Got the Jerk Chicken for lunch and it was phenomenal. Probably the best I've had in the area, Rice was fresh and so was the cabbage as well. I will be back!

Their name is fitting; it's a bright, fun place with friendly, helpful service. The decor is colorful and inviting. The food isn't cheap, but worth it because it's delicious and they give good portions. We took a lot home, and ate it once we were home because it really was delicious. If I had to recommend one dish, it would be the lechon kawali sisig! It's SO GOOD. Everything was good, though. We plan on visiting again soon.

Great Filipino food to satisfy your cravings. Loved the sisig! We also tried the chicken soup (Jamaican) and it was very hearty. The owner was very welcoming as well.
