Authentic Filipino food in the Boston area. My nephew says that the Bisteak from Bright Light is the tastiest food he's ever eaten!

From a half-Filipino missing a taste of home, thank goodness for this place! One of very few authentic Filipino restaurants in the greater Boston area. The food is delicious, portions are large, and the service could not have been friendlier. There’s something for everyone here! Definitely stop by if you’re in the neighborhood, and totally worth the drive if you’ve never had Filipino food before!

Excellent showcase of Filipino food I would be happy to share with the world! Their lechon kawali sisig is probably one of the best sisigs I’ve ever had — even better than Mama Fina’s NYC! So thrilled to have this restaurant in my neighborhood. Absolutely delish!

Bright Light is a true 5 stars. An absolute gem in Quincy, which has it’s fair share of below average food. All of these reviews are spot on - this tastes like home cooking, in the best way. We ordered the jerk chicken (nice heat!), chicken adobo and empanada. All were excellent. Simple food, great flavor. We will be regulars here.

Decided to stop by Bright Light because I had never had Filipino food before. The place is pretty small, with some street parking out front. They accept cash or credit, but there is a small discount if you pay with cash.I got the pork adobo. The portion size was filling for the price. There was a mix of dry and juicy pork pieces. I will say that it was very salty, to the point where I had to substitute some of the rice with my own plain rice to mute the salt. I don’t know if this is how pork adobo usually is or if it was an off day.Overall, I would come back to crack the salt mystery and because the food is good bang for your buck.

Small place, amazing food. Definitely a hidden gem around the Boston area. Usually not a person that likes a place that serves multiple styles, but this place does Filipino and Jamaican food justice.

Recently visited from Texas and found this place through Google search. Omg a total gem! First off, the owner helped my disabled veteran father get into the restaurant so we could sit down and enjoy dining inside. Secondly, every dish we ordered was delicious! You can tell the food was made with love. The only bad part is I wish I lived closer so I can visit here regularly!

We walked here with our disabled dad & once we got there we got so sad because there was a step from preventing us to dine in. The owner came out with some patrons and lifted my dad inside and it was the best act of human kindness I’ve seen in a long time. Service was amazing, food was amazing! I can’t wait to come back and dine in next time I come to Quincy to visit my dad!
