One of the best Chinese restaurants in Boston area

We stopped by Dagu to have dinner. We ordered the B2 spicy flavor broth with noodles. The broth isn't spicy for us. Good flavor, broth. The rice noodle holds well. It wasn't soggy at all. I would pay 2.99 to add more meat.
The Nan Chang rice noodles were good. It had a good flavor and not salty at all. The veggies compliment the noodles. It's new to the menu. My only gripe is that the peanut was too much for me.
We got a small order of Cantonese 5 spice chicken. It, too, is new to the menu. The sauce for the chicken wasn't sweet. The chicken is flavorful and tender. I would get the Nan Chang rice noodle and Cantonese 5 spice chicken. The owner, Ben, came over to greet us and wanted our imput on the Nan Chang rice noodles and Cantonese 5 spice chicken. The food came out pretty quick. Priced came out to 37 bucks, including tips. We look forward to coming back and trying the other items on their menu.

The noodle bowls are delicious and so flavorful. The crispy chicken breast is amazing with the seasoning to dip. The staff and owners are so friendly and welcoming. Also get a bubble tea or a milk tea, amazing and a perfect dessert.

Parking: Plenty of street parking around

Kid-friendliness: No issues with kids- any picky eaters the crispy chicken is amazing however ours love the noodle bowls / hot pots and they are delicious and fresh and served piping hot.

We stopped into Dagu for a quick lunch and had a great dining experience. To start, we had the chicken wings and brown sugar sticky rice. The wings were perfectly crisp. For our mains, we had red coconut curry chicken soup, and the signature rice noodle soup with pork bone. Both also had really great flavors & and we left feeling so full!! For drinks, we had the strawberry mermaid slush and the dalgona coffee!

Really good rice noodles. They bring it out piping hot, and the broth is rich and flavorful without being too heavy.

Main thing to really complain about is the service, not sure if they ever went through official training. They gave me a plate of appetizer that I didn’t order and upon telling them this, they just insist I ordered it because it’s on their system but never think of the fact that they misplaced it and just left it on my table with the attitude of “take it or leave it.” Either way, the food was also very mediocre with the beef being very stale and hard to chew on. I recommend just going to Shimiaodao near Wollaston station honestly, way better service and quality of food.

Got very thirsty after eating the noodle. Probably tons of MSG in the soup.

Only $12, more than enough noodle and contents for one person, the soup is amazing.

The food was so oily and spicy I got sick. While we were still eating, the waitress who took my order, sticked my bill on the table without saying anything. This is pretty rude in a restaurant.
Overall, this place is decent, food is on par but I left with some bad taste. Definitely will not come back or recommend to eat here.

Nice rice noodle restaurant nearby other Asian restaurants and close to 99Ranch.

I typically get the spicy crossing the bridge noodle soup. I really like the setup, it reminds me a lot of other restaurants where you add the ingredients in as you go, rather than letting them sit and boil. The soup broth comes in a warmed pot that keeps the broth hot even as you finish it. It is really good, though the spiciness may numb your tongue depending on if you are used to the spice.

I've also tried some of the appetizers like the Bang Bang Chicken. Personal preference but I don't like steamed chicken so I didn't enjoy it, but the other people in my party did enjoy it. I also tried the mango pomelo drink and it was really good, a nice sweetness that isn't too overwhelming.

Service is good, I think I got my food within 10 minutes of seating, and they were quick to get rid of the excess bowls and plates.

Good place to go to for a casual dinner or family outing while in Quincy.
