I love going to this place, and we always enjoy the food, service, except today I request a glass of water with lemon, and the waitress brought me a plastic cup with water and lemon, sorry I don'tdrink water in a plastic cup, so nicely I ask her to change it to a glass , and she was polite, no problem, but next to us was sitting two elderly couple that since we walk in they were very upset because we sit in the next table, and as I was asking the young lady for a regular...
The name is exactly what it is. Pub food with good drinks & nice ppl.The Gaelic 3 onion soup was one of the best soups I've had in a long time. Very flavourful. The clam chowder was good. The soft pretzels were fine. The chicken parm sando was good as well.The drinks were a generous pour, the bartender and server were very nice and it seemed like everyone knew each other in there which gave it a nice atmosphere.
What has been consistently a 5 star experience has been bumped down to 3 because as of late the service has not been great. The food/beverages/bar staff are wonderful but I’ve had several experiences with a rude waitress that definitely took away from my overall view on Darcy’s :/
