- Arancini ($10): Looked burnt and small but tasted okay. I liked the spicy sauce that came with this.
- Smash Burger ($19): Not worth the price. Too cheesy, and the patty didn’t have the signature crispy crust. Fries that came with this were also overly salted.

Always a treat to come here! The brick chicken, bolognese, and various rotating seafood options are favourites for sure. We've been coming here a long time, since the Townshend days, and it's one of the best vibes around. Cocktails are always fantastic too!

Wow! We started out with 8 raw oysters and they were so delicious. Salty and really flavorful, these oysters were so fresh and good. We also had fantastic dirty martinis with stuffed olives in lovely vintage glasses. Then came the small plates and I mean small plates with gigantic flavor. We had the beet salad with cranberry mascarpone. I don’t like mascarpone because it is usually grainy, but this was smooth and delicious. The crab toast was bright, fresh and the bread was so crispy and dense. Loved it! The zenith of the evening was the broccolini. We’re talking “last meal“ level! You may think, broccolini, whatever, but try it!! It was amazing and I’m fairly certain I could live on it. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive (shout out to Zach behind the bar) and chatted us up a bit. It was clear they had regulars who loved the place. The evening ended with a bit of a blended Moscow Mule they gave us with the check in the cutest vintage glasses. Seriously, I can’t say enough about the flavors, quality and staff. Everything made for a fantastic evening! Make a reservation if you want a table or walk in and sit at the bar. I can’t wait to come back!!

Nice new (few months am told) restaurant. Am here in Quincy MA visiting my daughter and her BF, great to know it's just 5 minute walk from the apartment. We had late dinner as my flight was delayed but the good thing is that this restaurant is opened until 10pm. Ambiance starts from outside, it has outside seating, lights strewn from the inside can be seen from large windows. Service was great, we were immediately seated, we were the only ones who sat inside as others preferred the outdoors. They had cocktail and non-alcoholic menu. Their food menu had smalls/appetizers, bugs/entrees. Price is more on the higher than average but worth it.service was warm and attentive.

Dotty's is an outstanding restaurant! The food, staff and atmosphere are all great and the prices are very fair. Our server Nicole did an outstanding job taking care of us! When we come back to Quincy we will definitely be eating there again. I highly recommend Dotty's for a great meal and a great night out.

Fantastic spot! Super friendly hosts and great customer service. There was a minor table deposit issue which was promptly fixed after I called the restaurant (the issue was not their fault).

Highly recommended

The food, service and ambiance were phenomenal! The oysters were beyond fresh and delicious, the bacon wrapped dates were perfectly prepared with crispy bacon and a savory balsamic drizzle. Our order of tuna, jalapeño fritters arrived hot and delicious with a tasty aioli sauce. The lobster slider was fresh and fabulous. The bolognese, a hold over from the favorites list of the Townsend (and for good reason) should not be missed! A finish with the key lime tart was an excellent choice as it was light and refreshing. I will be back as Dotty's is a special spot!

Dotty's is a fantastic place that I cannot recommend highly enough. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent, and you'll meet some great people along the way. In a time when finding a restaurant that excels in both great food and world-class service can be challenging, I'm glad we found Dotty's.

Whether you're looking for a casual drink, a laid-back dinner, or even a place to host a larger group or business dinner, it is a great choice. Enjoy!

Have regularly visited this restaurant over the years and in its prior iteration as Townshend. You get what you pay for - while it ends up being somewhat more expensive than other nearby places, it is more than worth it, given the wonderful staff, the well-executed dishes, and the tasty cocktails. Can say we always devour every dish, whether it's the smash burger or one of the pasta dishes. Easy to recommend as the best choice in town. Also would recommend sitting outside on the patio when able!

The rare 5 star!
It all starts with a warm welcome, followed by a friendly bartender (who makes a KILLER old fashioned). Went in for a few cocktails and snacks, the food was fresh and delicious. Had the fried olives, crab dip, and two different types of oysters. Everything was DELICIOUS! Decided to bring home some entrees, the Bolognese and seafood Pescadores did not disappoint!

Fantastic food, fantastic staff. 10/10 will be back for more!
