The vegetable oil here is so big. I ordered takeout and brought home half a box of oil. My appetite is gone
Small place that cooks authentic dishes from my childhood restaurant memories. We went at a slow time - 2p on a Monday - and were the only ones eating. The waiter was efficient and helpful and understood my Americanized Toisanese. We got everything exactly the way I asked for them to be cooked. Food is old school nostalgic and very reasonably priced for the generous serving size. It’s a small space so it is usually packed when we walk by but we went in today because it was post mid day lunchtime so we sat and ordered right away. Would definitely return to try more menu items. It’s a large menu.

This was our first visit to East Chinatown Restaurant, based on a Google Maps search. It seems we arrived close to closing time (within 2 hours), as many of the tempting Chinese BBQ options were already sold out or past their prime. Additionally, the staff appeared to be winding down for the day, resulting in minimal service and a wait for our food to be cooked.
While the food was affordable, it lacked flavor and presentation.
On the bright side, there's a small parking lot behind the restaurant (in addition to street parking), which is helpful to know. We plan to return at an earlier time to experience the full menu and hopefully, enjoy a more attentive service and tastier dishes.

Prices listed on their own website are wrong. Found out when the total was a LOT higher when calling in an order. Person on the phone became angry when I asked for the actual prices of items, or if they're busy, where I could find an updated menu. I was belligerently told to just drive all the way over and pick up a physical menu.

Awesome food, Buddas Delight, beef Chow Foon, beef brisket noodle soup and Singapore fried rice were all excellent. This is your classic family run Chinese restaurant that provides amazing food for a great price. Servings are large, wait staff friendly. I recommend this to anyone looking for authentic food. This is not a dress up place to take a date for the 5 star atmosphere, but take her if she values great food. The only downside to this restaurant and all others in the area is the parking is terrible. The city of Quincy needs to figure something out as it effects the businesses all around

Lively and communal. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but good food if you strategize a bit on your order! Shrimp fried rice on point ? ✨, bok choy and garlic was a miss ?, but beef and broccoli ?✨ on point. Large portions on everything and fair price. Would come again!

I live in Charleston, SC but my daughter lives in Quincy, MA. We found this restaurant when she first moved here and the food was amazing. So every time I visit her we order from here. So yesterday I came to Quincy because my daughter had to get some Dental Work done. We stop by do that I can order some food from me and my husband. First of All, I gave the guy my order about ten times! He told me that it was going to be about 30 minutes, so I waited in the car with my daughter and when I went back in , the people that was serving other tables were just rude. I get it the place is not that big and it’s always crowded But there’s no reason to be rude when Customers come in and are spending their money! The food was still Not ready after 30 minutes and when I got to my daughter’s apartment to eat with my husband, The Box contained the Driest Noodles that I ever had and the Wings weren’t Battered Fried as usual! The Noodles weren’t even covered with any type of sauce! I asked for Fried Chicken Wings , Pork Fried Rice, and Shrimp Lo Mein but I got Dry Noodles, Naked Wings, and No Rice for $25.00!! I guess they didn’t want to service Black Americans last night!!

This is where a dude from Hong Kong would take his family to have dim sum on a weekend. I find myself returning here out of all the dim sum spots I've tried in Boston.

Great food.
It's not delicious, it's not delicious at all, and the service attitude is not good. When you order food, you come in and ignore the customers. You sit down and don't bring tea and menus. I have to tell you that there are no menus before you get them. The waiters are very loose and have a bad attitude. These dishes are not delicious.
My wife & I went to grab a late bite for our anniversary…we ordered a twin lobster green beans and a side dish of calamari food wasn’t the best ..wife didn’t like the green beans and the calamari was covered in egg flavor ..service was ok until some asian guy named (Paul) stood behind our table staring at us ..we thought that was pretty creepy until I looked back at him then he started introducing him self to us as the manager or the owner…why in the world would you stare at customers like a creep at your restaurant and then when we stare back he tries to ask if there’s anything he can help with ..so I asked him for the check since this creep was pretending he wants to serve us he didn’t even respond instead he was busy playing with his phone..after all if you’re looking for a respectful atmosphere with good quality food avoid this place their food is below average the hospitality is none the variety of drinks only 1 type of beer..we will never be back there again!

Large portions at good prices. The food is really tasty. Best to eat family style and share everything. We ordered fried tofu, salt and pepper squid, salt and pepper pork chops, clams in black bean sauce and watercress with garlic and it was more than enough food for 5 of us.

There is on-street parking as well as a small lot beside the entrance of the restaurant. Went in as a party of 3 around 8pm on a Wednesday and were sat immediately despite the din of many full tables of families with 6 or more people. It was very noisy, but that means people are having a good time so that was no trouble :) We were given tea while we looked at the menu and were given a good amount of time to look. We ordered many plates to share, which included 2 soups (seafood and wonton), a veggie plate, a flat noodle dish, 2 fried dishes (calamari and tofu), stir fried lobster, and walnut shrimp. I recommend sharing everything because the portions are large and meant to be shared. The food was delicious and arrived on beautiful plates. Definitely will be coming back!
Kid-friendliness: There were many families in the restaurant with varied ages, from very young to teenagers.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant maintains the same elevation throughout. The guest with a motorized chair was able to move about.
