Casual Japanese sushi spot; simple and bright. We went for lunch. The sashimi lunch special and bento lunch specials are great portions at amazing price. Workers are all very nice.

Once upon a time this was a great little spot for sushi. Sadly, this neighborhood gem is no more. Fish was dangerously past fresh, tough uneven cuts. And the tables and walls and floors were so dirty and sticky.

Ones star because either they don't understand english too well or they don't have adequate training. I mentioned to the staff that I have a shellfish allergy and if they could take my order and if they also had a separate fryer for tempura. They assured me they did but that wasn't the case. I also even had shellfish in my sushi. I would of been fine just having edamame if they mentioned they don't recommend to order main dishes due to kitchen logistics. Went out with coworkers and sometimes you don't have a choice on where to eat in certain settings. Disappointing!
