One of the only places near Boston that serve authentic FJ (Fuzhounese) food. Service is slow as there’s one boss lady doing everything from cooking to cleaning so don’t come in expecting too much and be patient. My favorites here are the peanut noodles (ban mian), stir fry rice cakes (nian gao), and the wonton soup (bian rou). CASH ONLY so bring change.

Everything is priced very affordably, I believe the 3 dishes in the pic were around $20 total.

Come here for the inexpensive home cooked fu zhou cuisine experience! Definitely recommend the mix noodles and all their wontons, fried taro was crispy on the outside and fluffy within. Been coming here before they even had a Google page, cures my homesickness all the time!

The attitude is really bad. Please stop going there. That Fuzhou girl even curses others when they come to eat.

The noodles taste good, but the soup is lacking a little salt. The price is very reasonable.

This place is exactly what you expect and I find it oddly charming. Hole in the wall, cheap, good authentic Fujianese food. Only Fujianese place I’ve found in Boston so hopefully it sticks around.

The work and service here is incredible. The food taste authentic and was well presented. It had a great environment. They had great pricing too.

Setting and Service: You're not going to get much, it is not a real dining restaurant. Imagine it like McDonalds with taking your order at the table and bringing it out. No free water or tea, not that I know of anyway.Taste and Presentation: Very authentic, no real presentation but it is quick bite breakfast sort of place.Cost: Very low compare to traditional dinning. Breakfast items are like $2-$5 while noodles are like $6-$10. Tip is like minimum, I have been doing 10% but I don't know if it is required to tip given lack of service.Overall I would put this place between 4.5-5.0 due to the nature of its business which is to provide quick breakfast while being authentic, no service but very cheap, so overall experience with relationship to pricing is very satisfying. People who review this without consideration to cost will have a different opinion.

This truly taste like home! I haven’t had this since the last time I went back to my parents’ hometown Fuzhou, China. And I have been missing it since. This place is so convenient and close to where I live. Before I had to go to Chinatown or New York to get the same taste. I am definitely coming back again with my friends.

delicious and affordable. lots of good quality food for the price. tried their fried rice noodle and lamb pot, total <$15. taste may be a bit light to some people but good for me (and healthier)
