The mexican bowl was one of the best I've ever had. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Miso salmo was very delicious and I cant wait to come back and enjoy some more items in the outdoor dining area.

The Tavern was a great choice for meeting a friend. The inside restaurant was so cozy. This time we ate outdoors on the patio with an amazing view of the city and the golf course. The food was really good, especially the Chilean sea bass special. We will definitely return.

The Tavern was a great experience! The food was delicious, definitely recommend the Greek appetizer (yummy), no complaints at our table for any of the entrees,baked haddock was so good. I only gave two stars for service when eating in the restaurant. The food is always great. Consistent, large portions and always nice and hot. The problem is the service. We have eaten there one day a week for the past three weeks and the service is consistently bad. Each time we order, we ask everything to be brought at once. Each time they bring the French fries before anything else…including the actual appetizers! Ask for extra ketchup, lemon or even another glass of water and you’ll wait 10 minutes or more or, you won’t even get it at all (happened each time we’ve been there). A customer should not have to ask for refills on water. There just seems to be a lack of urgency when a request is made for anything extra. The saving grace is that the food is amazing and thank you for that.

The Tavern has been one of my favorite spots for years but last night's experience was disappointing. It was uncomfortably warm inside to start with. Our server was not very friendly, inattentive, rarely checked in and tried to take our drinks before we finished them. The food was mediocre at best...the Greek board was delicious but the eggplant was undercooked. My friend enjoyed her mushroom flatbread but my pear and Gorgonzola flat bread was inedible, drowning in whatever they used to dress the arugula. Hoping it was just an off night. I'll definitely go back but hopefully it will be the normal fantastic experience I usually have.

Excellent food for dinner and lunch with beautiful views of Boston.They have a very pleasant staff.They have a special Prime Rib Tuesdays. It is very reasonably priced meal and is accompanied with a side order of (2) vegtables.

Food was better than it ever was. Prime Rib Tuesday yielded a ginormous beautiful looking Queen cut and the baked scallops were sweet and tasty. Best I ever had. Tom provided top notch service. Attentive, kind, pleasant. Enjoyed his company. Truly "Tom Terrific". And all this on an unexpectedly very busy Tuesday night. We'll done!
