Very friendly staff. The coffee and bagels are both excellent. I highly recommend “The Works” bagel. Will return every time I am in the area.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Paid $12.30 for the most paltry & pathetic panini sandwich I've ever had. Was all bread. 2 small tomatoes & small pieces of mozzarella. Absolutely pathetic. I will never go here again & will tell others not to. Avoid this place. Terrible customer service too.

Food is solid despite some minor disagreements between staff lol. Drinks especially the smoothie are not that great. Filled with sugar. Smoothie is more than half of ice and water. One spoon for fruit. And some sort of ice cream flavoring.

This place is a staple when it comes to breakfast and lunch. Great bagels and breakfast sandwiches, as well as salads and sandwiches when it comes to lunch offerings.

I typically love Gunther’s. There used to be one in Hanover which was amazing but sadly it’s gone. And the one in Pembroke is great. The Quincy one is not as good at all. Once I ordered chicken salad and they added a disgusting amount of extra mayo. And recently they’ve been adding olive oil to the chicken salad sandwich? It’s so greasy and does not look super edible. Keep it simple

The food is good, however the management is very poor. You won’t get your drink unless you remind them (it keeps happening since the first time we went there), people order behind you will get their food faster. Don’t go there if you’re not planning to spend more than 20 mins just for a coffee.

My bagel was completely stale, could barely bite into it. No flavor what so ever for a sesame bagel and the veggie cream cheese was horrible. Do not recommend

We saw a mouse in the store and the worker said he was aware and he didn’t care. We needed to stop for 5 minutes to feed our baby and the worked kicked us out. Will never come here.

I’ve spent years in Boston and the south shore looking for a bagel place that has bagels that taste anything like NYC bagels (and breakfast sandwiches). This place wont blow you away but it gets close enough to the real deal to make it an obvious choice for any New Yorker.

EDIT - Reducing to 3 stars. They must’ve gotten lucky on my first visit, been back 4 times since and it was subpar every time.

Today, during my class break, I came to study and sat at a table with two chairs in the corridor area. I put my bag on one of the chairs. A woman working there, who seemed to be middle-aged, rudely told me to move my bag. I was quite surprised by this. I have studied in many cafés before and have never received such poor treatment. Please remind your staff to be more polite and courteous to customers, as I am now thinking about not coming back.
