Very poor customer service
great place, good prices and they always got curry leaves in stock!
Extremely convenient Indian Grocery Shop in Quincy...and you can find some Indian vegetables and produce including meat walkable to the closest apartment community in Quincy....
The dry goods and produce are both of excellent quality and selection, far above other greater boston stores. the food stall inside is exceptional and gives better taste of south indian food than any east coast american restaurants ive been too
Best Biryani ever from India Mart Quincy. We love it.
Good place locally to pick up your Indian spices. They handle cash transactions but credit is available after a certain dollar value.
Fully stocked, amazing products that can't be found other places, a little messy but it was being swept as we entered
I called and asked to check something, they put me on hold and left the phone.
Avoid this store. Reasons:
1. They are overpriced
2. Prices are not declared on the products, you get to know them after the billing
3. Their produce is spoiled and they refuse to take any responsibility for it.
Attached is a picture of their spoiled coconut which was discovered at home, brought to the attention of the shopkeeper. He refused a return, replacement, or compensation.
Prefer South Shore Desi Market due to these poor intentions and attitudes of India Mart.
Edit: completely false justifications and libel from the store if the customer has a poor view of their store. There was no argument, the store refused responsibility for spoiled fresh produce, especially coconuts and frozen foods.
Now they are bringing the 20 day rule. We came back within 22 days, so if they were not mal-intended, they could have processed the refund without blaming the customer with one inane reason after another.
Rotten produce is a common complaint from many others for their store and this rotten attitude is also not helpful.
Refrain from sharing any personal information with them. If one can't treat customers better at the point of sale, there is no point in continuing a conversation.
"An absolute gem of an Indian restaurant! The menu is a symphony of authentic flavors, each dish a culinary masterpiece. Attentive staff and impeccable service make an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!"

Small little shop. Sometimes you’ll find a helpful worker, but not often. You really have to know you have Indian food if you shop here
