This place is so quaint and chill. Great food and atmosphere made me feel like I was in an authentic Chinese Cafe

This is my friend's house. No place for the general public.

I ate here two years ago and then again yesterday. Neither time was great. I gave it a second chance because it was one of the closest restaurants to the Quincy Center Stop but I was rather disappointed. The service was fine, though I am not a big fan of small styrofoam cups. They could easily help the environment with some glass or metal cups. The Chinese soda was good and well-priced at $1.50/can. Moreover, the dumplings were fine. They were taken out of a package to be steamed, but that happens more often than not. One should not expect house-made dumplings. If you get the veggie ones, make sure you like spinach. What sullied the experience was two things: 1) the annoying kid playing computer games on his Ipad and talking trash online; he was the only other patron 2) the pork-belly sticky rice. For me it's hard to get pork belly wrong. I don't know, for instance, if I've ever had a bad slice of bacon. However, this appetizeresque thing, this pork belly wrapped in sticky rice was less than satisfying. The pork was completely dried out and was obviously precooked. It was a fair-priced dish and would have been well-priced if it were any good. This place should really do more to draw in the high school kids after school. They should step it up with some solid house beverages and they should get some staples down pat. Then, they will have more than just one commuter and one kid playing video games in the corner.

Ordered ahead as we were coming from afar. Food was cold and had sat the whole time. Service equally cold. Pork had a microwaved/chewy texture and was inedible

Service ?? Really … the service is bad. Not terrible just bad.The food … really ? I could have bought Trader Joe’s and have better luck. The containers that the food come in is ghetto.2/5 because the restaurant is cute but that’s it.

Microwaved food. Service not friendly to all. Cook vapes indoors in front of customers.

all our food came on plastics containers & in plastic bowls. we had our dumplings on a microwaveable lid from a togo container. we are eating with a plastic spoon. the food was good but the presentation was awful. would honestly just order take out next time.

I had the beef curry soup and soup dumplings. They were both good - especially the curry beef soup. The dumplings were delicious, but could have used more broth inside. Will definitely be coming back.

Super tasty and fresh. Order was ready to pick up quickly and was neatly packaged. One of my favorite spots in Quincy!

Scallion pancake was smaller than expected and not very crispy. I requested a iced milk tea and they mentioned that it wouldn't taste as good because of the ice which I was fine with but it took about 10 minutes to make. Also, their milk tea had no sugar. I've had it in Hong Kong and they put sugar in it.

Ordered a beef dumpling, wonton soup, mushroom noodles, scallion pancake and a fermented rice dessert. Beef dumpling was flavorful and juicy. The wonton soup was a big disappointment in terms of size. The filling and skin is so small that you can’t even taste it. The soup was very salty. The noodles in the mushroom soup was good but the soup was just salty. The scallion pancake was very small and weak in terms of taste. The dessert was the most decent offering out of all the food we ordered. We were the only customers on a weekend night, which is not a good sign.
