Terribly overpriced for subpar food. Staff inconsiderate and extremely unfriendly. If you are looking for a delicious steak please do yourself a favor and travel 300 yards down Hancock Street and dine at Alba Steakhouse. Much higher quality steak at a realistic price.
No need to thank me.

Perry and Maryam were amazing, they made sure that we were comfortable and took great care of us. They were very attentive in their own personal way and their top priority was us, (a group of 20 people) and it shows; standing ovation to them. We would all go back just for the service. Food and drink were also A1, would definitely recommend. Thank you to Mason’s steakhouse for making my sister’s day perfect.

I have to write this review after the same thing has happened to me several times: salads, oysters, a capaccio, waiting so long and waiting for something so simple. The last time I was at the table near where the meals are served and 3 people went to get something so simple to prepare. It's incredible. Last Wednesday my wait time was especially absurd. Something is wrong with your cooks.
You walk up and you see a beautiful building that has been remodeled from likely a municipal building that now holds a restaurant. The atmosphere when you walk in the classy chic with a rustic touch. The smell of woodfire immersed you as you noticed the wood above the kitchen area next to a classic DC style bar. The seafood is fresh, the caviar smooth, the steak and lamb cooked to perfection. Will be a go-to spot for sure.

My fiancé and I came here for dinner to celebrate our engagement. The Staff had given us a very thoughtful on the house celebration dessert and a special card congratulating us / thanking us for choosing to celebrate it with them. On top of the amazing food and thoughtful gifts, our waitress Ava took such good care of us. She was a delight and made our night with how funny and sweet she was. We were very pleased with our experience here and will certainly choose to come back. Thank you for a great night!

Good food, great service!
Service: Kitchen service was slow on a Saturday night. It took a while before our entrees came out and we were served with a wrong entree once. From getting seated (even with a reservation) to receiving our first entrees, we could tell that the kitchen was backed up and should be restructured to accommodate a busy dinner service between 7-9pm. Our waiter forgot our drink orders twice, and we basically served our own wines and drinks ourselves all night. We could tell that our waiter was new to the job/position.
Note: there is complementary valet parking across the street!
Food: coal roasted prawns, half dozen oysters. Cesar salad. Filet migon, wine, all delicious.
However, I would not order the pan roasted duck again or their pumpkin patch cheesecake. The duck was disappointing, a little gamey. The salad included had no sauce and the buttered corn did not complement the duck. If you cannot execute a dish well, please take it off the menu. The pumpkin cheesecake was too rich that I wouldn’t want to finish it. The cinnamon was too overpowering. Their chocolat hazelnut dessert was okay.
Atmosphere: modern decor in an old building. Open kitchen and a nice bar. What not to love. But, it could get pretty loud.
Overall, we would come back again for certain dishes and when their service gets better. For the price point, we expected good quality food and service. And unfortunately, we were left disappointed.

Fantastic dining experience at Mason's Steakhouse happened by chance since I don't normally dine in Quincy. I had no idea what to expect upon entering the former Masonic temple that looks like it could have been the Smithsonian. The interior was actually warm and welcoming due to the open kitchen with all the wood for the grill.
It was bustling on the first floor with a lot of celebrations going on. Apparently the 2nd floor is quieter and would be good to check out next time.
Don't miss ordering the seafood tower. Probably one of the best I have ever had with a really nice presentation with lettuce wraps for the lobster salad, mini cones with crab meat and amazing colossal sized shrimp. The smoking dry ice was fun as well although not necessary since it was such a beautiful platter already!
We were told by a friend to get the charcoal grilled prawns, and he was totally right on because it was absolutely tender and tasty!
My husband's melt in your mouth filet mignon was perfectly grilled!
My squid ink pasta with seafood was great but I couldn't find any of the lobster or rock shrimp that was listed on the menu. There was plenty of regular shrimp and scallops but wasn't as special as it could have been.
I would definitely come back here with my whole family and wish Mason's was in Boston and easier to get to. This surprising steakhouse stands up and exceeds many of the steakhouses in Boston proper!

100/10! Fantastic experience at Masons for brunch. Enjoyed some delicious Australian Wagyu alongside Masons Benedict and fresh Oysters and Shrimp cocktail. The oysters and shrimp are some of the best in Boston and the steak was melt in your mouth delicious. Must visit!

This place is a must go place to eat. Honestly the sides are shareable so please keep that in mind. Tge steaks are done to perfection and the crab fried rice with scallops on top was amazing.

Very cool atmosphere and great service! The food slightly missed the mark. Of the 3 steaks, two were overcooked. I requested rare and mine was more medium rare (not a huge deal), but my father requested rare and his was medium. Mason’s handled it graciously and took the steak off the bill, which we appreciated.
My steak had a Gorgonzola taste to it, not sure where that came from since my sauce didn’t taste like that! I would’ve requested my steak without it had I known.
I wish they had more classic cocktail and dessert options, the flavor options were all slightly out there for me. But everything we saw looked beautiful!

My wife & I along with my wife's friend's recommendation and my previous mostly positive reviews of Masons Steakhouse in Quincy with easy access to 1170 Hancock St. in Quincy, we decided to celebrate my Birthday today and our Anniversary tomorrow! Our server Christina was exceptional and made sure we were taken care of as well as all of the staff we interacted with. Rolls were so good! Then I started with a House Salad with a house made dressing that was so scrumptious it was like eating a dessert! I believe it was a honey vinaigrette dressing. We ordered a filet mignon & NY Strip steaks cooked perfectly and so tender! 6 Awesome homemade sauces to choose from. Puree potato & creamed spinach were delicious! In the case of Desserts, you can't go wrong with a French Pastry Chef in the kitchen! Pick anyone and you will be satisfied. I recommend the Baked Alaska! The owner, Tony, greeted us to make sure we were happy with everything and kindly complimented our dessert for our celebrations. Beautiful interior. The first level has a bar and TV an open floorplan the second level has a small bar and a few sections for a more intimate dining experience. There is an elevator for access to the second level.
