I had high hopes for McKays. Parking was ok. And we got seated pretty quickly. I ordered the most expensive item on the breakfast menu (I was really hungry). Then came the very long wait which was still ok. Then our meal was delivered to an adjacent table. It wasn't until the folks at the table called the server over and then they took it off the other table and brought it to us. Im not very keen on getting an order that was already dropped at another table (if it was still in the servers hands ok but this wasn't that)
When I asked the order to be remade - my server stated it would take a long time. My wife was ready to eat shoe leather and took her plate anyway. A few minutes later a 3rd server brought me my order and said it was remade. No apologies, nothing. My original server apparently didnt want to bother us so I had to get up and grab a 2nd set of silverware since I wasn't given one. I was also missing the French toast which was part of my order. We got the bill, paid it and left. Still no apologies from anyone. I never raised my voice. I know my server saw me get the silverware from. Another table as she immediately put a fresh set on it after I took it. There were enough people involved that I would have expected management to at least come over. I dont think ill be coming back.

The coffee was burnt and gross. Perhaps time to make a new pot at lunchtime if you are still serving coffee. House special Mac and cheese was good and service was impeccable.

When you go to McKays, make sure you go hungry because they give you plenty! The food is delicious! They have different meals to choose from and specials. A good cuppa coffee, too!

Had a great breakfast, maybe the best homefries ive had great flavor and the potatoes still had integrity and bit , a lot of places they are too mushy and soft ! These were awesome

I live in the area and absolutely love stopping by McKay's for breakfast on the weekends! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is top-notch. Whether I’m craving pancakes, eggs, or their famous breakfast sandwiches, McKay’s never disappoints. The cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast or brunch in the area!

Sausage was under cooked, while the ham was way over cooked. Half the home fries were still raw. 4 dollars for 1 cup of coffee with no offer of a refill. Mckays is not what it used to be, so sad.
