Went at opening (6 AM), and many of the pastries had not been put out yet. However, one of the workers grabbed a pork floss bun from the back for me when I asked. They were also pushing for me to get a pork curry bun. There was a bit of a language barrier, so I'm not sure if it's because it was the only fresh thing they had at the moment or if it is because it is one of their best sellers, but I opted for just the pork floss bun, as that's what I was craving.At...
While I live in downtown Boston close to Chinatown, Mei Mei’s pastries are delicious and worth the drive to Quincy. They are one of the few places in Boston that still make homemade pastries and the taste sets them apart from the others. They are super affordable too!
***This review is strictly for their cakes. ***I ordered a cake from this bakery. The cake was beautiful! However, the flavor was mediocre at best.I did not try anything else from their bakery.The staff was very nice, polite and patient.I would be interested in going back and trying some of their smaller baked goods.However, as I mentioned before the only thing I have tried is a personalized cake, and I was not happy with the taste of said cake.
