My friend and I went there on Friday night at 7pm which usually busy time for dinner, but I don't see much people there, so we decided to give it a try. It was a good decision. The price is cheap compare to other places around. The foods are good, we order a spicy hot pot fish and signature spicy pickled fish and they are all awesome. I also order fries for my son and he like it too. I'll definitely come back with my family. The restaurant is little small but still have around 6-8 tables and look very clean.

Been meaning to try this spot! My partner and I ordered the signature spicy pickled fish, fish w tomato sauce, and fried pumpkin cakes -TASTE: 5/5 - everything was on point! My signature spicy pickled fish was barely spicy unfortunately, but we loved the broth, mustard greens, and cilantro. The fish w tomato sauce was also excellent w its balance of sweet and sour in the tomato sauce broth. Pleasantly surprised to see red bean filling in the fried pumpkin cakes for sweetness. I'd definitely be down to come back and try more hereTEXTURE: 5/5 - both entrees had a good mix of light broth, super tender fish, crunchy cabbage and radish, and tofu skin. The fried pumpkin cakes were crisp and chewy; seemed glutinous rice-based maybe(?) and delishPRICE: 4/5 - fair prices. Our subtotal was $35SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - the "small" portion was bigger than I expected, and we both took home leftovers! Both of our fish entrees came w rice SERVICE: 4/5 - we walked in at 12:30pm on a Sunday and one of ~six tables were taken. Our waitress was friendly, and the food started coming out 10-15min after ordering ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - very small but modern space; the tables are close to one another. Liked the pictures of the pickled fish entrees on the walls. Didn't look like there was a public bathroom available though PARKING: 4/5 - got a free street spot a block down on Hancock St and walked over

I often order takeaway, but the last few weekdays I have ordered takeaway. I don’t know how it will be if I change the master. The master treats the takeaway with a perfunctory attitude. What happened to the garlic oil and green onions that were poured on the fish before, and the fish fillets are so thick. How to taste, the difference is really big, not delicious ? My cooking is better than his, I hope the boss can respond to this problem with the master. (Picture 2 shows that I added green onions and garlic myself) In addition, the waitress is very sweet.

Enjoyed the fish soup here! We tried the signature spicy pickled fish and the cold jelly dessert. The portion size of the large was good and the soup was flavorful and fresh. It wasn't too salty or too oily. The cold jelly dessert had great texture of jelly. I wasn't a huge fan of the raisins in it, but that's nothing new.Service was efficient for the food, but slow on refilling the water (the soup was spicy!) The restaurant is very quaint and unfortunately, no restrooms! Overall, definitely worth going if you're in the area.

Kinda gross to be honest. They definitely use frozen produce for the appetizers because I could taste the ice in the middle of the takoyaki. Just no... but the food wasn't great either.

Ordered Mr. Pickled Fish both for dine-in and takeout, and was delicious both times (better dine-in). The fish and vegetables were tender and the broth was the perfect combination of sour, savory, spicy, and salty. I'll definitely be coming back.

I called, ordered and said I was sick. Without hesitation she recommended extra vegetables to help with recovery. Good service, recommendation, food and job! As you can see, not too oily either. Ordered the Spicy hot pot fish and it cleared up my sinuses. Thank you!
