Used to be such a spot with all the ayce options but i get it, times are tough with inflation and stuff so no more ayce but this place still has everything. If you're hanging out with picky eaters, you can't go wrong with royals. They got hot pot (which i think was decent fair warning could get very spicy), sushi which they offer lots of cool maki rolls and korean bbq which was ok. Our only complaint is everything is a lil pricey for the amount of food we got. Service was quick and they put your meat and orders on cool display carts and stuff. We might go back again and probably will try karaoke downstairs next time (yes! They also have karaoke and a cotton candy machine lol)

My mother in law wanted to go out to a nice hotpot restaurant for her birthday which is why we chose royal because of the ambiance, food, and aesthetics. The only thing they need to fix is their SERVICE from their SERVERS. We did not even get a chance to look at the cocktail menu which is why they had to order themselves a beer. I on the other hand, asked her if I can get a few more minutes to look if she can get them their beers and come back to me. Her response word for word was "You need to order now because the bar is far and it's getting busy"... mind you when i walked to the restroom, the bar was around the corner. Also, are you saying you're a server that can't handle busy with the four tables that's in the restaurant right now? Or are you being lazy? I am the general manager for an asian chain restaurant and my servers would never answer their guests like that. I was baffled. On top of this, she never came to do water refills or check on us at all. She never came to conversate or even pre buss our table. Her busser was doing more work than she was. Birthday dessert came and not even a happy birthday experience for my mother in law and my fiance wasn't even at the table yet. They dropped the dessert off and left. Bill came and the server added 15% gratuity for a party of 3, totally fine but these servers know they don't need to go the extra mile to enhance someone's dining experience because they know regardless of the work they do, they're still getting tips because it's automatic. That is absolutely obsurd. I asked if I can leave a tip for the busser (she didn't speak english) since she is doing an outstanding job, she said the gratuity is added for everyone the bussers get paid hourly , did i ask you how much they get paid? I won't be back, absolutely not.

Their food good but the service is trash . I came to pick up my food to go and they didn’t want to give me the sauces for my food that I paid 62 dollars . They definitely are racist and ignorant , I use to come to this place all the time . Definitely won’t be spending my money here again .

Avoid if you're looking for good surging Korean food. Server pull all the bulgogi on a cold grill after I asked her not to do it the grill was not hot enough. It was just steaming on the grill. Kimchi is store bought. Will not be back.

I went there for my birthday with a buddy. At first, we got a very great server who was patient and a really sweet lady. This other server appeared out of nowhere and rushed us, being quite disrespectful. We felt so rushed that we left after spending more than $100 in there. My friend's mother went there a week after us and complained about the same thing: there's this woman there pressuring them to pay and go while she doesn't do the same for the other non-people of color seated opposite from us.

I ordered short rib bulgogi. I was not happy that 3 of them are 99% fat. If you love to eat fat this is for you. But I complained and the server just said that it's random?!! I've never eaten short ribs that's 99% fat. They gave me fruit after dinner. I don't know if everyone gets fruit or if it's to compensate me. It's my first time there so I don't know.

The food was delicious. The service was good and helpful if a bit over-extended. The atmosphere was not what we were anticipating but that may be on us for not knowing hotpot is the Eastern equivalent of taking the family to the Cheesecake Factory.
Perfect every single time**** EDIT 2/11/24: I’ve been coming to this restaurant and faithfully ordering the same meals for almost 7 years now. As seen above, I’ve never had a single complaint. Today I told the waitress about a quality issue w the cut of beef (the same one I always get that’s always perfect) I just wanted a new cut of meat and the waitress refused and argued with me telling me im wrong and there couldn’t possibly be anything wrong with it, but she wouldn’t taste it…. And then didn’t take it off the bill. This is a server problem, not a management problem, as she didn’t even try to resolve the problem or go to anyone above her. Won’t be as quick to waste my money next time.

Love the interior design. One of the reasons I would recommend this place. Food presentation is a win especially the smok coming out from the seafood platter. Tomato broth was delicious. It tops the other hotpot places I go for tomato broth. Loved the white fish and the measles the most in the seafood combination. Service was great as well.
