Nice spot for soft drinks and ice cream. Space inside limited
It was great
Can’t beat a whole belly clam dinner plate. Also ordered a clam chowder and fried shrimp plate. Everything was awesome. Came out hot and fresh. Very busy spot but they churn out orders in 10-15 minutes. Price is reasonable.
I had a very simple request when I visited this fish restaurant. I ordered the fish sandwich, and politely asked if I could have it on a sub roll instead of the regular bread they use — which they already have in-house. I even told them I was willing to pay any reasonable extra charge. However, the staff flatly refused my request without offering any explanation or solution.
When I asked to speak with the manager, I was also denied that — which to me shows a clear lack of customer care and respect. Sometimes, a small accommodation can go a long way in showing hospitality and flexibility, but unfortunately, that was not the case here.
I walked just a few steps away to Tony’s Clam Shop, and to my surprise, they fulfilled my exact request with a smile, no hesitation at all. They were kind, open, and truly welcoming.
I highly recommend Tony’s Clam Shop to anyone who values good service and a customer-first attitude. They deserve your business
Whole fried clams a bit too big bellies for my taste
The Clam Box always offers fresh and quality seafood, crisp French fries/onion rings, and tangy delicious cole slaw. Always a joy to see them open for the season and always pure sadness when they close for the Fall.
Been going to it for years Pet friendly reasonable prices
The Clam Cakes Had A Seasoning That We Did Not Like. The Fried Clams. Were Not That Tasty Thay Had A Bland Flavor. The Coleslaw & Onion Rings Were Good.

“We visited The Clam Box and ordered the lobster roll and broiled seafood. The food was decent, though not outstanding. It’s a self-serve setup, which was convenient but not overly engaging. However, the scenery was beautiful and really enhanced the overall experience. It’s a good spot to enjoy a meal with a nice view, though the food could have been a bit more flavorful.”

I got the broiled scallops and clam chowder for my sides of I got the corn. It was missing flavor overall and was pretty rubbery. I did not enjoy what I got. The clam chowder was all sauce and had maybe one and half small pieces of clam in it. The corn was cold and hard. Sorry I know this is a local spot for the boulevard but I’d say it is more hype and the quality is lacking I would not come here again. I also spent $55 and the service was terrible very standoff ish, Not helpful and over all the atmosphere was low. I do not recommend eating here.

Clam strips were fried too much, very dry. Fries were very oily and portions small.

Best shrimp, calamari, and steak dinners I ever had.
Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu, if they like seafood otherwise there are chicken Fingers, and burgers

First time at Clam Box all summer. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. There was a woman cleaning nonstop. Definitely satisfied my fried seafood craving!

Horrible. Found a hair (not mine) in my fried shrimp batter. Counter help couldn't have cared less. It's too expensive to eat off paper plates in unsanitary conditions. Gross. Portions are enormous. The view is pretty, but I'll never go back.
