The food used to be good but the quality has definitely decreased. The fish doesn’t taste real, it was slimy and didn’t taste like real fish or haddock. It taste like some kind of knock off fish. We can do better lobster stop.

Fresh lobster and I saw them replenishing the tanks when I was there. The lobster roll was ok but the lobster was overcooked and slightly tough. The clam chowder was plentiful with clams and potato. I’ll be back to try more of the menu.

What a cool seafood spot right off the water in Quincy. We found this location watching a YouTube video about lobster rolls by a local and decided we'd stop while visiting Boston.
So glad we did the staff were super friendly and the food was fantastic. They also gave me an Egyptian style pita to try when I asked what it was that they were baking.
Thanks wish we lived closer so we could frequent them more often.

My wife and I stopped here for fried clams and onion rings, I’m not sure what changed in recent months but the food was too greasy, the bag with the onion rings was dripping oil. We won’t be returning.

Super friendly staff and great food. The owner went out of his way to greet me and my family since it was our first time at the restaurant. Loved it!

When we walked in lady at the cash register looked tired and fed up which is of course not a problem at 630 pm I don’t expect everyone to be jolly. But when another person walks up she looks super happy and upbeat which I thought was weird but I brushed it off. The workers were talking to someone at the dining area and that guy thought we didn’t understand his language but we can hear him talking about us. We had a little chit chat about where we and him were from. When my friend went to the bathroom he kept knocking on the door saying he was in there for 15 mins but he was in there for 5-7 mins. He then went to the workers and started laughing about where we were from with them and made it very uncomfortable for us. We then left as soon as possible to get out of that weird environment.

Solid seafood at a very good price. The clam strips were a good portion and tasted decent but tbh I had clam strips at Burkes Seafood last week and was craving them again but they are not open on Sundays. Burke's clam strips are definitely better.

Lobster Stop offers decent seafood, and the dishes are generally fresh. However, the overall experience is somewhat affected by the owner, who is Egyptian. Unfortunately, he is often impolite and behaves poorly toward both the staff and customers. This creates a tense atmosphere that takes away from the enjoyment of the meal. The service can sometimes feel cold because of this. In summary, the food is acceptable, but the management really leaves much to be desired.
