The Tavern has been one of my favorite spots for years but last night's experience was disappointing. It was uncomfortably warm inside to start with. Our server was not very friendly, inattentive, rarely checked in and tried to take our drinks before we finished them. The food was mediocre at best...the Greek board was delicious but the eggplant was undercooked. My friend enjoyed her mushroom flatbread but my pear and Gorgonzola flat bread was inedible, drowning in whatever...
We had a fabulous dinner. I had requested a table by the window and we were seated there which was so special. Our server was so friendly and attentive. We will be back! Delicious food too
Awesome restaurant, great menu, good food and drinks, great service. Awesome bartender. Calamari is good so is the shrimp cocktail, they don't skip on shrimp. Baked cod is great.
