Love this spot! Always thrilled with food, service, and that view! Thai lettuce leaves are my go-to starter, and the salads are fresh and delicious. Bloody Mary is indeed spicy if you like it that way and I do. Five stars.
The staff at the Tavern was kind enough to allow me to set up a surprise proposal for my now fiancé. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and generosity, as multiple managers and staff assisted me in this process, and could not have been more helpful and welcoming. I am beyond grateful, and have zero doubt that this kind of hospitality reflects in all of their services.

Braised short rib eggs Benedict literally had no flavor. Scallops not fresh, tasteless and salty.
The staff depending who you looked at was either miserable looking or they seemed happy and smiling.
Now I know everyone has their days. But leave it in the back room, not on the floor.
Years ago I was there for a wedding and everything was delicious. Not sure what is going on there. Even the cocktail sauce...
