One just opened in Smithtown and we've already been there twice this week. Today my husband brought me a donut and it was so amazing. I had brought him some cake a few days ago. Can't wait to try the bread.

Contacted 2 locations earlier today to find Confetti or Mango Cloud cake for my partner's birthday celebration. Charlotte/Southend location had Mango, but phone rep could not take payment over the phone to hold cake since she was "told she could not do that." Instead, I was told to call again before leaving for the store to make sure cake was still available. I did just that a few hours later & this time was told they had one Mango cake THAT WAS ON HOLD so I could not buy it. Upon explaining I was told earlier that phone payment to hold cakes was not permitted, this phone rep "didn't know anything about that" & said "there was nothing she could do." I therefore did not get any birthday cake from Tous Les Jours today & will not buy one any day...I am absolutely unwilling to pay $50 for a mediocre cake that I could get at any bakery, with dismal service that I could get at any Wal*Mart.

The cloud cakes from Tous les Jours are very good. The texture can be inconsistent, but most of the time the inside is very soft and moist. I also like that they are not very sweet, which caters to the typical Asian palate. My family usually gets them for celebrations. We've tried a couple of flavors, and so far the strawberry cloud cake is our favorite. I also like that each cake conveniently comes with a server/knife, candles, and matches.I've also tried a few pastries before, but they were just okay; comparable to Paris Baguette's down the street. So 5/5 for the cakes but 4/5 for the pastries.

I ordered the sweet potato pie pastry and it's a tasty little treat. Just the right proportion for one and not too sweet. Its even better warmed up.

Basic cake, looks good but taste mid. For the price, I expected it to taste better or at least have fresh/ripe fruit. The mango was hard and sour. The cake itself is very basic, just sponge cake and cream. There is a lot of cream so if you're not into that, don't order it. The cream gets pretty heavy once you eat a bit. Overall, would not order it. Place is overpriced and overhyped. Go support your local smaller bakeries.

Food: Our friend got the "Peach Cream Cake" for a friend's birthday and it was SUPER DELICIOUS. Definitely some (if not, THE) best cake I've ever had. The cream was so soft, the cake was nice, spongy, and fluffy, but the best part had to be the peaches inside it. Service & Ambiance: I haven't been to this particular location, but the one in Malden is really nice. The drinks and other pastries on the menu look good too!

Great selection of pastries, cakes and coffee. Love how light and airy their fresh cream cakes are. This location has a glass window upon entering the store so you can see how they whip up their fresh cream for the cakes. This trip I got an iced matcha espresso which was really good!

Fantastic bakery. Tried a number of different items, everything was amazing! If they ask you if you would like to heat up the croquette, do it. It was good that we had to come back the next day.

Just had the worst cafe experience at Tous Les Jours in Quincy. The Garlic Cream Cheese bread, usually my go-to, was a complete letdown. It was as hard as a brick, like it had been sitting out for days or zapped in the microwave too many times. The texture was all wrong - not crispy, just tough and stale.I have been Tous Les Jours customer any many Asian countries for more than 10 years. But this is the worst. I am also not new to Garlic Cheese Bread, i know how it supposed to taste. When I complained to the staff, their response was a joke. They told me it’s ‘supposed to be like that.’ Seriously? I eat this stuff all the time, and I know the difference between crispy and overcooked. It’s like they didn’t care at all. Total disappointment from a place I expected more from.

Quincy has definitely become the place to be in terms of the amount of asian cafes & restaurants that have opened in recent years. This latest Tous Les Jours is a great addition to the community of good eats here. Always been a fan of their cloud cake slices, however they are expensive for just the small slice you get ($7). The everyday pastry pricing is pretty fair (about $3-4 a pastry). If you can't decide, their Twist Donut will never disappoint. They're much fluffier and lighter than normal donuts. Plus, who doesn't love cinnamon sugar? In addition to their yummy pastries, the coffees are good too! They have interesting flavors like Ube or Lavender, so if you're looking to try some special flavors, look no further.

I rate this place a three out of five stars only because their Ube drink and coffee drinks were not up to par. Why make vanilla lates if it is not going to taste like vanilla? that is how I felt for all of their drinks. I even gave their pumpkin spice a second try, with the second time it tasting even less sweet. If you like smooth coffee but no sugars —this is the place for you. The coffee is good. The snacks are good (pricey though). It does get quite loud in here because of the machines and it makes staying inside not that great, which is the final reason I rated this place a 3. Truthfully you have to stop by at least once!
