I go there every month or so and get pizza to go. Very friendly people in the kitchen. Pizza is great. It is an Amvets hall so not a real fancy place. Never really ate there so can't really say much about ambiance.
Cheap beersand great pizzas. This is a townie hangout, so don't walk in and give it 4 starsand say "My family was scared of the people drinking at the bar". Its an Amvets post.

We were here on a Sunday afternoon- bar was crowded, but there were plenty of tables with TV views for the football fans out there. We did secure two seats together at the bar after a person was nice enough to move. The crowd wasn't overly friendly, but warmed up to us as our time there wore on. The bartender brought out cheese, pepperoni/salami and crackers to offer to the bar patrons- which was a bonus. Everything is cash only- so hit the ATM prior.
