“I really liked the food here, the broth was really flavorful and the service was quick. you order everything through a tablet which is dangerous if you have no self control because you can just keep ordering stuff throughout the meal lol. but its super convenient. the servings are generous for the price. the free dessert is also pretty nice. the bok choy, enoki mushrooms, taro, and quail eggs are my favorite.
also the bathroom is really clean and they have everything you could need in the womens bathroom.

i would avoid the bar seating during busy times if you can though, because of the layout. the bar is in the line of the kitchen so the workers are walking behind you and talking as you eat. also one worker left their tablet (each waiter has one ig) next to the bar and for almost an hour straight it was constantly dinging with the notification sound. it was extremely annoying lol.“

“This was great food. Everything was obviously fresh and high quality. We ordered from the menu, not hot pot, and all the dishes were cooked exactly perfectly. Even the appetizers were clearly cooked with care. And they have a really extensive menu of hot pot items, plus plenty of other dishes. They really care about making the best food and they succeed.“

“Not sure why it’s not rated higher for the price and hot pot options. We use to live near Spring Shabu in Allston which is fantastic! Tai Xi’s price for unlimited meat and seafood in conjunction with broth choices are wonderful! We always leave satisfied and the service is fast.“

“We came for dinner with A party of 10. We ordered alot of items. Overall it was tasty. The salt & pepper shrimp, pork and squid was flavorful and crispy. The steak pepper was a salty and we found a rock in our clams. The lobster was fine. Overall would come back“
