I had my mom order online today, as we usually go to drive thru, but we had four sandwiches and drive thru has a limit of three— it’s been like that for as long as I can remember(like 8-9years maybe?) and unfortunately they didn’t have my bagel flavor. They substituted for plain as it said on their website when she was ordering so it wasn’t what I hoped for, but still delicious. I love the bagels here, very rare to find bagels this fluffy in MA. The staff is also so nice. It’s a trip for me to come here but it’s worth it in my opinion. Last time I dined in and also ordered a hot chocolate. I was waiting for it to cool down when a staff came and actually brought me another hot chocolate cause he said he noticed this one came out better. Who does that! That was so nice and shows how much the staff cares.
Bagel World in Peabody has the best bagels I’ve ever had — truly top quality. However, during my visits on Oct 2 and 3 (around 7:14 to 7:30 A.M.), I witnessed the manager acting unprofessionally — once waving a knife while talking to staff and another time belittling an employee in front of customers. Great food, but management needs training on professionalism and communication. With better leadership, this would easily be a 5-star spot.
