And in during a quiet time on a Tuesday afternoon. As soon as I sat down for fresh rolls and water. Ordered a salad quickly. Everything came out quickly and attentive waitress. Just what I need for an afternoon pick me up!

We held our monthly motorcycle meeting at Bertucci’s in Reading. We have anywhere from 16-24 attendees. As always the room was set up, rolls, oil, pitchers of water and menus waiting for us. Our Waiter Steven, recognizes us by name (quite a feat since we never sit in the same seats each month). He knows who gets what for drinks. We settle in and he then takes our orders. He has a great sense of humor and there is lots of laughter. After ordering., We hold our meeting. Meeting done, food is delivered. He checks back to be sure we are all set. Boxes for leftovers are brought along with our checks. Individual checks too! Steven makes our dining at Bertuccis a fun night. Thanks Steven!

Last night we had our bike chapter meeting, our table was set up with rolls and oil. Ordered our food had our meeting and by the time we were done our food arrived. Steven did a great job with our dysfunctional “family”. Thanks Steven

Tonight, Nov 20, 2024 our regular group from our motorcycle chapter met and had dinner at Bertucci’s in Reading, MA. We had our regular server, Steven, who greets us with hot rolls along with butter and dipping sauce. He is always so warm and friendly and knows most of us by name with only slight hints! He always takes our order and checks on us while we wait. He serves us our meals with a friendly smile and cannot do enough for us. It is always a fun evening with a great server and a good meal. Okayish, the rolls are dairy free, and after some discussion the waitress brought some dairy free dipping oil. She seemed very put out about my allergy so that put a damper on our lunch. Settled on an antipasto salad which would've been better if it wasn't swimming in dressing. Should've asked for it on the side. I was surprised this chain doesn't have an allergen menu, I have no issue figuring out what I can eat but getting attitude over basic questions was beyond annoying. Won't return..

I came in well before an hour till they closed. The server asked if we were dining in and was automatically pissed off and told us, “well you guys better eat fast, you have 20 minutes”. There was more than an hour until they closed. We sat and he dropped the menus on the table and then proceeded to tell us “i hope you guys know what you want to eat”. We ordered our food and were told half the stuff we ordered, we couldn’t have because they shut off most of the appliances in the kitchen. Overall terrible experience with a very angry and not very customer service trained server. I would understand if we can in 10 or 15 minutes before close, but we had more than an hour.

I miss this place. I wish they would return to southern Connecticut. The pizza is solid and the rolls are excellent.
