Fun time at Bunratty Tavern! We dined here during a trivia night, so that was a very fun experience to have while eating. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about allergies (I have Celiac disease). The food was good, but nothing crazy. I would say the portions are pretty big too, so that was nice! We will definitely be coming back for another trivia night!
Lively tavern featuring standard American & Irish dishes, plus cocktails & brews in a comfy setting. Nestled in the heart of Reading downtown. Lovely interior. Live music Friday night. Very generous portions. Fast service. The most impressive dish on the menu is the Irish Breakfast to me. Missing a bit of the old Blighty and this comes close.

I ordered the roast turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwich. I asked for sourdough bread which tasted cheap not tangy and delicious as real sourdough should be. The stuffing tasted just like boxed Stove Top stuffing mix, which I dislike very much.
My daughter ordered the shepherds pie and the meat and gravy tasted...
