We have been to Cal’s a few times recently since moving to North Reading. The service and food have always been good. Yesterday we came hangry at a busy time and had to wait for a bit longer than expected with two young kids. The owner was very apologetic, brought over another serving of French fries to apologize and then also ended up giving us a gift card for the entire price of our food because of the inconvenience of waiting. I really appreciate the thought and would definitely go back. The service is really above and beyond l.

Place a takeout entree order for broccli. rabe and penne, they say they dont have but its on the menu?
This is second time different order, this is a sandwich pizza shop they should not offer entrees, go to an italian restaurant

Had two pieces of pizza..large slices!! Pizza was ok but left a funny after taste. Will I go back.? I don't think so ..but glad I tried it.

We were visiting from Florida and was told we had to go Regina’s pizza so we did. Well we were not satisfied. It’s was average. So we found Cal’s and gave it a try. It was literally the best pizza and wings and ice cream we’ve ever had! The people were so friendly and upbeat. The restaurant was so clean and very well managed. If I lived here this would definitely be my #1 go to restaurant. I give this a perfect 5 🤩🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

We love Cal's, both the Brick Oven for real pizza, and their creamery next door. We order calzones all the time, only place up here we have found which is comparable to good New Jersey pizza and calzones. Pizza is also excellent, obviously. We don't eat in, but interactions with staff are always great, too. They take good care of all the customers.
