Cal's has excellent food and ice cream
Excellent flavor and topping selection. Serving size is decent for the price and taste is very good!
My wife and I were in town visiting for Thanksgiving from NC. I’d say we’re HUGE ice cream connoisseurs, loving ice cream that has a rich creamy base, doesn’t slack on the mix-ins, and good portion sizes for the price. Cal’s hits ALL of these boxes. Compared to our favorite NC creameries, this place ranks as one of the top we’ve been too. Highly recommend.
Some of the best ice cream I’ve had. Got the vanilla brownie portion was great for a small compared to how a lot of places are today. The brownie was so fudgey and vanilla base was so good. Even my picky dad rated it a 10/10
This is the third time they say they’re open on their google website only to arrive and find them closed with a new poster of new times. Will not be coming here again as it’s very annoying and wastes a lot of time not knowing when they will be open- It’s a shame since Ice cream is really good hence the 2 star
The ice cream here is super tasty with a rich, creamy texture. I’ve tried several flavors — Blueberry Cheesecake (not sure if that’s the exact name), Mocha Chocolate (my favorite!), Oreo Coffee, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate, and Key Lime Pie — and all of them were delicious.
They have a great variety of flavors and offer different serving sizes. For me, the kiddie size is more than enough — it’s basically a big single scoop (lol).
Definitely a must-try spot for ice cream lovers!
Just want to give Cal's and their manager, Steve, a shout out for the best customer service ever!! There was a small problem with our order and they went above and beyond to fix it for us. The food is amazing and the ice cream is to die for!
LOOOOVE their non-dairy ice cream! As someone with a dairy allergy, I’m so grateful they make such delicious options and that the place is local!!
Went there for my last dessert before having my baby!
10/10 ice cream. Dangerous!! Addictive! Can’t stop eating!!
Loved Cal’s Creamery! Such a cute spot with awesome ice cream and really unique flavors. I got the cake batter oreo and it was seriously one of the best ice creams I’ve had. Their ice creams are super creamy and delicious. Definitely a 10/10 and I’ll be coming back for sure!

I was really disappointed and should have said something before walking away. Perhaps the girl that scooped the ice cream didn't hear me because another girl took the order. I wanted two scoops and asked for a cup under the icecream with the cone. I only received one small scoop of ice cream, it was like a child or baby size compared to ice cream shops all around the vicinity towns. So I only received one flavor.
Excellent ice cream at a reasonable price.!
Quantity is a bit much but the flavor was excellent
Absolutely delicious
Cal's presents as an outstanding alternative to the predominant North shore ice cream. You know the one. It is a profound that they attempt their own flavors, and with great success. I've now been to Cal's twice in the last several days. The first trip was a reconnaissance mission to prepare myself for a visit with a good friend of mine and his family. The second trip was the rendezvous with my friend, who is, by all accounts and appearances, a very stable genius. We attended the same elite high school (you've never heard of it) and, despite this, we maintain a common touch. And a love of ice cream. My friend was pleased with the maple walnut, which packs a significant protein punch when one has skipped dinner. I was delighted to see my daughter choose peach, which she readily consumed with aplomb. My other daughter went with the rainbow sherbet, which she assured me was bomb. On my first trip I had a hot fudge sundae. I have to confess that I was not able to finish it. I praise you for the generous portion, and praise myself for not having gone into a sugar coma (the result of eating the entire offering, one forecasts). On my second trip I settled into the root beer float, a deliciously creamy concoction. Now, I will say something that is somewhat sacrilegious in these pages. No one has ever improved on the Häagen-Dazs vanilla, but Cal's comes reasonably (or is it regionally?) close. The ice cream world is full of emulsifiers and many of them needless. Cal's is not exempt from this observation and mild critique. Well that's my view. And what do I know, never having served my own ice creams to many dozens of VERY happy patrons on a hot summer night?
Baklava ice cream 😋
