Best spot for breakfast. Shaved steak omelet is a favorite.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible, although the ramp is at the far side of the building.

Unfortunately my first time getting food here ended up being very dissapointing. Likely having to do with it being take out. If I ever come back I'll have to try eating in as that seems to be the better option.

Christopher's Restaurant is located at 580 Main Street in Reading, MA. I've eaten here often since it opened in 1992.
Today I ordered the Potato Skins & Egg which is eggs Benedict made with Canadian bacon & hollandaise sauce in potato skins. The fresh fruit was orange & watermelon slices. I ordered the raisin toast.
As always, it was delicious. Christopher's isn't a fancy restaurant, but I appreciate their extensive menu of home cooking style options.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week, 7am-2pm. It's almost always busy, so you might have a short wait. There's counter service, as well as tables & booths. My server today was Pattie C. (?) Despite the restaurant being busy, she was attentive to me & I appreciated it.
There's also a selection of pastry items available, but I always try to avoid it after just eating a full meal!
The only drawback is that parking in downtown Reading can be a challenge. After eating a big meal, I never mind walking off some calories when returning to my car.

My first time going there. I ordered the Benny with canadian ham, sausage pattie and cornbeef hash brown on it. This is the best Benny I ever had! Service was speculater. I gave this 10/10 - will be back soon.

I had high hopes as I've heard great things about this place a few years ago. Well either its going down hill since then or the person who told me about it just doesn't have good taste. Their food reminded me of school food. The potatoe pancakes that u thought would be made there were nothing more than the French fries you buy at the Market that are essentially a smoothed tater tot. Sorry but that's not what a true potato pancake is. The eggs were dry and brownish from being overcooked. I got take out and although I gave a fair amount of time before I went to get it, and they weren't busy at all (which should have been the first red flag on a Saturday morning) I still had to wait a good 5 to 10 minutes. Which honestly wasn't a big deal until I ate the food and realize not only did I have to wait but it wasn't worth it at all.

Fantastic food with several twists on Eggs Bennies, great variety, atmosphere rarely seen at such a busy place. Highly recommended.

We went to Christopher's on a beautiful Monday morning, parking was terrible. we waited about 15 minutes to get a table. Our server, Salam, was a mess. She forgot my sons apple juice literally the entire meal. once we had finished our meal, my husband and I sat there for almost 20 minutes just waiting for our bill. I wouldn't have cared if she was super busy but the restaurant was pretty quiet. I understand getting frazzled, I just wish we were paid attention to a little more. The food was great!! I had potatoes pancakes with corned beef hash and hollandaise. My husband had the corned beef hash with rye toast.
