I had high hopes for this place but was honestly a little disappointed. I ordered a cold brew with cream and the s’mores flavor, they didn’t have the flavor but said they could make something like it. When I received the coffee it was extremely light (like extra extra cream) and it tasted like Splenda was added. Not sure what flavor combo they used, but I feel like if they didn’t have the ingredients to make it taste like s'mores, they shouldn’t have offered it.
I also got an avocado toast, which was tasty, but not for the price in my opinion.

Water based protein shakes. Very frothy bland shakes for a high price.

Went for the first time and loved it. Everything very healthy and delicious. The chicken salad was excellent and the protein balls were delicious.

Horrible customer service and had the audacity to try and charge me over $5 for a cookie. Avoid this pretentious place.

Empower Café isn’t just a place to grab a latte—it’s a place that means something. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive energy and the genuine care behind everything they do. The tribute to the owner’s mother adds such a personal, meaningful touch. It’s rare to find a café that serves up both a killer espresso and a reminder of what community really looks like. The staff? Friendly, fast, and always up for a chat. The food? Fresh, flavorful, and made with intention. The atmosphere? Bright, clean, and perfect for working, relaxing, or catching up with a friend. Empower is the kind of place that reminds you why small businesses matter. Thoughtful. Uplifting. Real. Skip the chains—this is where your coffee dollars should go.

Menu is pricey. I believe they use Stevia as a sweetener, which I'm not a fan of.

Super cute vibe and place! Great to come in and study, read, or chill. Their PB and oreo smoothie is 10/10.

I am a regular here for many reasons first the teas are amazing! Secondly the staff shout out to Vanessa who creates a special tea just for me are all so kind and know my allergies without me even having to say anymore and when they have hot cookies while I’m there they know I’ll be taking one home for my husband. The owner nick took my advice on which gluten free bread to carry so I’m able to have avocado toast (which I love but can’t eat anywhere)! The seating is so well set up that everyone has their own private area which is the primary reason I come here. I have not only a service dog but a service dog in training because sadly my older dog will retire in about two years and I like the exposure for my dog in training without her having to be inundated by particularly children who don’t respect the dog’s space as she learns her job. Without my dog(s) I am not able to get around and be in public so as I train her I appreciate small businesses that are so accommodating. And lastly I love that on days that I can’t get out there is the option of delivery

They allow pitbulls in the store. I was trying to enjoy a bowl and coffee with my two Young children. Then try and claim its a service animal. Mind you its not wearing a service dog tag or vest, jumping up to the counter and whimpering. I reached out to the owner, he was trying to tell me that it is his friends dog. Honestly, I don't care whose dog it is. I am my family felt unsafe. I would NEVER go back. They don't care about customers safety.
