Ist time there,Seafood was fresh and tasty. We had the Cherrystones and the Calamari to start.I had the Chicken Francese and the wife had the Haddock. Our server was very attentive to our needs. We will definately be back. Those negative reviews did not stop us from trying Fusilli's.Check them out I think you will definately love the food. I think some piped in Italian music might make it more enjoyable.
Yesterday my fellow book club members and I shared a wonderful lunch at Fusillis. The ten of us sat a very comfortable table. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Joanne was our server and was so helpful in recommending appetizers and desserts to share. She couldn’t do enough to ensure this experience was a memorable one. We highly recommend Fusillis and Joanne!!

Was greeted rudely at the door, “What can I do for you?” Started at us blankly when we said, “We would like to get food.” Then took 5 minutes to seat us, in an almost empty restaurant. When we finally sat down the waitress was friendly, but I am assuming the owner or manager called the restaurant and asked about our vehicle and said it had to be moved to the side street (no parking sign posted) where they wanted us to park. This was all after we had ordered our food. We parked it in the only spot available to park. Started eating our food then was asked to move it again, while our food was on table. The bill was over 100.00 still got charged for all of it even though we didn’t get to eat the main plate. Mind you there was only 2 of us trying to eat.( been on road all day, just wanted to enjoy a meal before going back on the road)
Parking: Small parking lot if trying to find a meal and you have a pick up truck and trailer do not go here.

So so food, semi-depressing atmosphere and clientele. Nothing stood out in a positive way. Some high school kid was our waiter and seemed lost with a table of 8.
Supposed to have killer Martinis and limit you to two. Didn't try one.
Must be a short supply of restaurants in Reading. Can't recommend.

Lovely place. Food is good! Service was great, going to a restaurant with a toddler and a young kid is quite stressful but they treated all of us so well, my daughter wanted to stay to paint more!

I recently visited Fusilli's Cucina, and it was an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the cozy, inviting atmosphere instantly made me feel like I was stepping into a little corner of Italy. The warm lighting, rustic decor, and the aroma of fresh herbs and garlic in the air set the perfect tone for the evening.
The food? Simply to die for. I started with their fresh oysters, which was the perfect balance of flavor. For the main course, I indulged in their signature Fisherman Fish, and I was blown away. The haddock and scallops were cooked to perfection, with the bursting flavor from the tartar sauce. Each bite was pure magic.
The service was just as impeccable. Our waiter was not only attentive and knowledgeable about the menu but also incredibly handsome, adding a charming touch to the already wonderful experience. He suggested a beautiful espresso martini pairing that elevated the meal to a whole new level.
To top it all off, the pistachio cake dessert was a slice of heaven. The perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal.
Fusilli's Cucina is an easy 10/10. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine with amazing service in a beautiful setting, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to return!

Ok, 1 star right now (only because Google's review algorithm does not allow a 0 star post). August 10, 2024, while trying to celebrate my beloved friend's birthday, there was an unfortunate incident with the "Manager" that went down. I am owning my bad reaction to the manager's explaination, which BTW was a load of crap she served my party for our main course.
I don't believe our orginal order ever got placed...Ultimately I had to leave because she told me to and threatened to call the Police. I'm not too stupid so I left. They did not charge us for the 4 glasses of wine our party of 3 ordered, nor the complimentary salad & bread (which was NOT offered after we placed our wine order, we had to request 30+/- minutes later!). Why?!
The best news is the Birthday Girl fortunately was able to drink all remaining wine on the table (2 glasses nearly full!!!) while I was being told to leave further away over by the kitchen. What baffles me is how could any so called "Manager" in the service industry behave the way she did? I'm 56 years old and have NEVER witnessed such a thing in ANY dining establishment---never mind being a part of the "thing" itself!
Once I speak directly to the Owner, I will enter review #2. NOT before I speak with the OWNER. Just a wild guess but I believe He or She will NOT be too happy. Please stay tuned...
Update: Has anyone ever seen such a response to a bad review from a restaurant or any other entity on Google? Their accounts are inacurrate! Placing the blame on the customer and posting publically for the entire planet to see? My Lord, what's wrong with some people??? I have two witnesses along with an attorney who can set the record straight. But not on Google! Fusilli's is TOXIC and their sevice systems are in dire need of improvement to say the least. Potential Patrons: Please do not dine there. If you do, don't ever make a valid complaint. OBVIOUSLY, THEY CAN'T HANDLE IT like the Billions of other Restaurants who know better!!! Who knows what they will do to your food....Would you trust Fusilli's?
No speaking with the Owner, no more reviews. I'm done --- stick a fork in it! Let the public decide.
Comfortable place to go with the family where you are not sitting on top of each other. Great food and pizza. Complementary salad is awesome!

4 for dinner. Lasagna appetizer was very tasty but a little dry. It would benefit from a side of marinara (which is excellent and we "stole") from the garlic bread bowl ( a small round of bread with tons of garlic and cheese). Baked haddock was excellent. Chicken w/olives, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, pasta was very good. Hanger steak (a special) was good but very salty. Another special, grilled halibut with gnocchi and sauce was excellent. The serving was huge and made a great 2nd dinner! 3 had the brussels for the vege. It was cooked perfectly and even tho the sprouts were large, they were flavorful with no bitterness. Drinks and appetizers were served promptly, entrees were a wait. Our server was very good.

It has a homey but slightly upscale vibe.
Food was alright, and server was nice.
Got the steak tips which were overly covered in sauce, but cooked well (medium rare request)
Veg was slightly on salty side for my own tastes.
